Now that the show is over I'm kind of sad the community is not a bit more like US BB. Over here, while the winner really doesn't get any real coverage in the national media beyond a couple tv interviews afterwards there's a lot of opportunity for online chats. It can be a lot of fun for those housemates who want to stay in contact with their fans. Realplayer, who hosts the livefeed, always has a number of hour videochats with the popular houseguests, and sometimes they get their own webshows to talk about other shows or whathaveyou.
It feels like with the UK Big Brother, unless there is some kind of ongoing gossip for the magazines you don't really hear from the housemates. Also, given that ratings are down I bet there will be less opportunities post season this year. Yes, they show up on BBOtS the next season, but we don't really get to know what's going on. I feel withdraw setting in.
