There's something about this year which bores me
The judges are okay
but something is missing.
What is it?

it has been going on for way to long they just change the name and a few things but its still the same as all the other shows

I think the poor themes and bad song choices have a lot to do with it this year ...

Poor themes
Poor talent
Poor judges
Too many commercials
Too much VT padding
Too many sob stories
Too much contrivance
Too much favoritism
Too much manipulation

This year has been a drag. I can't believe the live shows only started a month ago and there's only like 6/7 contestants left!

There's a lot of things off with the show - but as usual, I keep tuning in every week. Darnit.

Rather than falsifying judge drama to get voters, they should make the contestants do something different instead. I'd love to see them get paired up and duet together, rather than waiting till the final to see them do it with a professional.
