None of them. I was in the bedroom and heard Janet 'sing'. It was so atrocious, I had to come running in, hence this thread. But the others are average at best.

Yeah maybe a bit. I am judgemental and arrogant, but I never denied that. But I didn't say that. I do believe in differences of opinions, but there are certain things I will not tolerate. Janet cannot sing. Fact of life. If that makes me a self righteous, arrogant narrow minded person, then so be it. I hae no qualms or problems with it. I have plenty of good qualities too.

I did not claim that I was not ignorant at all because that would be stupid. I said that I was not VERY ignorant. I specifically and deliberately didn't say that I was not ignorant.

Misha I find just shouts. Craig a bit boring. But I don't have such a strong opinion. I do appreciate others may think they can sing. It's just Janet. It was so so out of tune that I cannot understand the good comments.
I also have no problem with people liking her because she has 'heart', (although I can't see it), but I do believe I have enough experience in the music world to say she cannot sing and is constantly out of tune.

I honestly really don't think technically shes the best singer there but im someone who can overlook slight imperfections. Imperfections can be beautiful.

I really loved the tone of Sophie's voice but with her alot of the notes she would hit sounded painfully off key to my ears. With Janet though I find the notes some think she doesnt quite hit endearing. Shes probably not someone id choose to listen to off the show but I much prefer her voice to alot of the contestants and I respect her for not overdoing it and always singing from her heart. It's a rare thing.. well a rare thing on tv talent shows. I respect opinions of others but it does annoy me when people go on about technical perfection. All my favourite artists could never be called technically perfect but soo much beauty can be found from within them. I prefer voices that are raw, honest and often untrained and I suppose thats why ive quite warmed to Janet. God im writing soooo much. I'll shut up now!

At least you admit your faults, It's not you saying that Janet can't sing that i had a problem with (we are all entitled to an opinion), It's the way you would not accept anyone elses view about it if it didn't match yours, and then insulting them. Do you do that in your daily life, or only when a screen and keyboard separate you from who you are talking to?

Of course an example can prove something is not a sweeping statement. Think about it. It's obvious. You made a pathetic statement based on your own self righteousness. If you are able to give me examples of how this is the case, for each example you give, the statement becomes less sweeping.

I can't say that any of them float my boat this year. Misha and Kitty can sing but they both have a tendency to be too shouty for my liking. Marcus is too cabaret, Craig too bland, Janet is like a poor version of Sinead O'Connor, Little Mix are OK but nothing special. I haven't heard enough of Amelia to comment but frankly none of them look like contenders to be the next big thing.

Not only can she not sing,she has mimimal personality and is such a wet drip! Hopefully now Amelia is back,she will be out soon, unfortunately she has probably got most of Ireland votng for her.

Okay,I get what you mean,and admit,I don't enjoy her tone or the way she trails arround notes,but,as another trained singer and professional vocalist,I can still recognize the appeal she has and see why she is marketble. There is a plesant ,pure quality to her voice,and she has a style. Credit where due.

May I remind you the only reaosn you called me thick was because I 'don't know the difference between singing and singing in pitch', but if you look carefully at my posts, I clearly do, just disagree with you. To call someone thick on this basis.....well....says it all really...
