Just thought i'd post this fansite on here as it's pretty good for some Hollyoaks nostalgia, although the past characters section is complete. It's still a nice little site.

Yesterday's episode was fantastic. The way the turned comedy into drama so quickly showed why it is so well written. I'm still not a fan of redmond's other work (Brookside and the newly ruined Grange Hill)

BBC ONE usually around january. Phil Redmond blew up the school, moved it from Elstree to Liverpool and added mini Brookside actors and a poor attempt at Hollyoaks style humour. The actress that plays Darlene was in it at the same time as being in Hollyoaks.

redmond also is the maker of the cortroom (channel 4)and was responsible for emerdale plan crash. he very well respected with very succesful career in the tv industry. he also is controler of the largest indepdent tv production company.

I too love grange hill but not in it's current state. With the explosion, far too many good characters went.

agreed SteveOwen - but how ???

I think i'll carry on watching Hollyoaks untill the christmas and new year storylines are finished and if i start enjoying it again then i'll continue to watch (and vice versa),

and i'm not all dried up and sour i do laugh at Hollyoaks when i find things funny e.g. Joe meeting Danni Carpones father and Lee on his beauty therapy course. I also laughed at the complete dysfunctionality of mandy et al on tuesday - poor beth what a load of nutters.

Darren's just frustrated he can't sh*g Beth, but no doubt he'll be pouncing on Natalie once she's back.
