It didn't sound like a generic ballad. It was quite moving.

Yes, I loved it.

I've just posted this on another thread, but if it was Janet that had been brought back into the show tonight, then everyone here would be raving about her.

I agree.
That said, I reckon she'll be the most successful commercially.

No she managed to ruin a perfectly good song. One of Queen's best and I use to like it until I heard this version.

Janet blows hot and cold with me but I have to admit I thought she had the performance of the night

I didn't expect to like it at all, because this is one of my favourite songs to listen to and to sing, but the arrangement was nice, and in places, for the first time,I liked her tone.

She performed very well, connected with the song, and in places it was lovely, but she needs to reighn in the affectations. They don't need to go completely, but they are distracting, and occasionally not controlled enough, which makes her go briefly pitchy.

Nowhere near the worst of the night. She is getting there, and, again, better acts like her who have potentiial than polished yet consistently mediocre acts with none.

I didn't really like it, her singing was good, but I just found the song incredibly dull. I understand that Kelly didn't want her doing a carbon copy of Somebody to Love, but I just found it boring and lackluster.

I found it incredibly beautiful. She so needs a recording contract after this competition, because she just fills a niche in the market and a niche in my iTunes library that needs filling.
