Well I loved her performance tonight. I've just downloaded it on iTunes and have it playing now.

Janet was my favourite act coming into the live finals but after 2 weeks, I was bored. Last week she was horrendous! This week, she was back to boring yet I adored her vocal?

I'm a confused bunny, but Janet did better this week.

You should give credit where it's due and i did say her previous three performances were weak. Not this latest one though.

I'm sure some would consider it beautiful, especially if you like that sort of thing. But personally I think her style is boring and dull. I've never been keen on her.

It was beautiful . For those who say she can't sing, she can, and she's probably the best SINGER in the competition.

No,I wouldn't go that far. She has some bad habits that distract from her otherwise good vocal delivery.She has potential to be ,though. Her voice doesn't appeal to me,but credit where it is due. It was a beautiful performance.I was a bit bored,but can appreciate what was good about it.

Janet doesn't have what it takes to win the show. Her performances have never overshadowed some of the others.


However, I am positive she will get a recording contract and her albums will sell well. She is a recording artist rather than big performer.

Janet's was one of the best performances of the night. Beautiful vocal and very moving.

I could read right through Gary. He is digging at Janet (and the other acts) to protect his own. I wish Kelly would stand up for Janet like the other judges do for their acts. I feel Like Louis stood up for Janet far more than Kelly did.

Judges' act is just pantomime. They are building up for Janet to go. She has done what she needed to do - something different.

It has been necessary to platform/promote Janet on the show, but she is not their winner.

I don't believe bringing Amelia back is any accident.

unique voice...emotions at top... great performance...but its just not the taste of everyone!

most importantly, they cut out the more enegetic part of the song. i was looking FWD to the Devlinator crashing and burning there, i was robbed.

They have the benefit of hearing her on a daily basis and have probably come to the conclusion that with all the intensive voice and music coaching not producing a performance that is consistently in tune there is no hope for her. Those with some spare time after the singing lessons are taught to dance. I wonder why Janet is glued to the stage?

In previous years the performances have tended to improve, usually from poor all the way to the dizzy heights of mediocre, as the contestants learn the basics of their trade which includes some stage craft. Perhaps a smile after a performance rather than a rabbit in the headlights impression would help.

A few haven't improved and a few have gone backwards.

This girl started out with so much potential and has slowly deflated over the last few weeks.

Its as though she thought she wanted to be a singer but has realised that she doesnt anymore but will continue anyway until shes voted off. She has no Ooomph, no spirit, Her eyes are dead and void of any emotion other than boredom.

Her mood seems to be reflected in her singing and does so very well I think. But that is not a good thing when the mood is boredom and disinterest.

Janet should have gone the other way, she should have sung it completely defeated. Barely singing, almost whispering, just a faultering, quivering cracked voice. With all hope gone, just pleading.

I think it would have suited her voice much more.

Who knew that song could sound so bad.

It was Terrible. I can't believe that TPTB changed from a Lady GaGa week to a Lady Gaga v Queen week just so Janet could ruin this song. It was obvious that she was going to sing this when the added Queen into the mix as it is the only Queen/Gaga song she had a chance of pulling off and unfortunately she didn't.

Freddie Mercury she isn't, so she couldn't even attempt to do that song like he did. Viewed from that standpoint, the decision to do it that way was the correct one - and she very nearly pulled it off. There is a haunting, heartbroken quality in her voice that is quite rare and appealing, but still underdeveloped. She struggles on low and soft notes, although she is far from unique in that respect.

In a way, I think she would have been wiser to enter the next competition instead of this one. A year's coaching would work wonders and deliver a much more rounded and capable performer.

Dull as dishwater. I really thought she had potential at the start but every week has taken her lower in my estimation. Bottom two this week for sure.

I think Janet has a nice folk voice when singing songs she's comfortable with.
I didnt like this performance though, I appreciate it was done in a ballad style, but it was slowed down far too much even given the style, making it sound bland and boring. Coupled with Janet's yelps here and there..
She seemed to be singing round the melody rather than the actual tune in places (eg the first line..?), and the song didnt really go anywhere. I thought the end would liven up a bit with a choir or big note or something. It never came.
