If you want Mischa to win perhaps you should vote ......

Thank god for some FMs! Ditto to what MikePJB is saying. Not to be rude, or deny Amelia's talent, of course. She is a very undeniably talented girl, however people are hyping her up on this board to astronomical levels I've never witnessed in my life, and in the process dismissing other's talent as well, notably Misha and Marcus. Amelia gave a good performance last night, but that doesn't some how make their talent invalid - and if Amelia is going to win the competition, then obviously she has such a big fanbase you don't need to criticise other acts in order to praise Amelia.

Yes, those song choices are excellent, but X-Factor would never let her sing that type of song... they aren't on the approved list of recyclable hits!

I think we have to realise that they are different TYPES of singers, and some TYPES of singers appeal more than others. My personal preference would be Amelia over Mischa and Marcus, not that I think Amelia is a better singer.

What Amelia does have though is the look and the personality. She has the right attitude even at only 17 years of age!

I like Amelia, her style... and her voice (though Mischa to me is more talented all round), but that 'right' attitude' comes across to me as slight subservience, reserve and being afraid to let her true personality shine through, good and bad. It's the typical X-factor bland 'winning personality' type and I personally prefer someone with a bit more attitude (even Janet's little sulks are more interesting to me).

I have no time for Amelia unfortunately. I liked her at the start as she was a great singer, but I didn't like her attitude after she was voted out, kind of hypocritical that her parents were slating the show and now she's back? I also think the move to vote someone back in was ludicrous. Won't be supporting her.

Completely overated reaction about her IMO on here though rather predictable really! I think in 2 more shows she'll be liked about the same as 2-3 others .. ie getting about 20% of the viewers vote. Yes she is quite good but no better than 3-4 others still there atm

I'd disagree - I'd say she was a lot better. It just goes to show how mentors aren't needed. I wish someone would phone into the XFactor and point this out. If she can develop a stage presence and improve even more her vocals (on her own?) what need is there for their 'expert' help.

Their own phony mid-series publicity stunt has backfired on the makers on so many levels.

Remember what Amelia and her parents have said, they don't need this show, nor do they want her to be a Cowell puppet so I think we should all be damned grateful that she has found time in her busy schedule from partying and hanging around nightclubs (fair play as she is only 16) and accompnaning Frankie Cocozza to car parks to come and sing for us.

Her entrance on a white unicorn accompanied by fanfares of midgets dressed as Louis Walsh serenading her on to the stage was the very least she could have expected and some say her entrance was too "low key".

Reports that she possess "Derren Brown" like mind control to influence viewers' voting intentions and hearing aids have been dismissed by Max Clifford from his headquarters deep inside Simon Cowell's colon.

The production team including musical arrangers, vocal coaches ,choreographers and vocal coaches are all new this year as others have either gone to US show or are not being used.
Most of the contetants seem to have shown little or no progression and some like Janet have regressed. Yvie Burnett said by week 5 you should see a massive improvement in vocals and performance from week 1 but by week 6 this is generally not there.
Vocal coaching seems to have been ineffective, musical arrangements are getting predictable and most contestants looked much better at auditions than they do now. It has been a massive fail by the show this year.

This is why Amelia is able to walk in and not look out of place because her experience from recent live gigs is as good as any experience the production team gives.

Amelia wasn't that amazing and was shouty in parts but for a lot of people she was a refreshing change from what the programme has been churning out (with the exception of Little Mix who are the only plus) ..had she been in the programme for the last 5 weeks I don't think people would be amazed by her at all even if she had sung the same song last night

It only proved that if there had been a public vote Amelia would have been kept in. I'd like to know who got the lowest of the public vote (the first time I mean when the judges voted them out).

That doesn't mean Amelia wouldn't have been voted out since. We can never know that cos she wasn't in the competition.

I just wish she'd go back to how she was at the judges houses - the pink hair is awful and I prefer her being a bit more like Gwen Stefani/Pink as she was originally. Her voice is strong and powerful and I just fear she'll get the bad XF styling and they'll make her sing old songs which won't suit her.

She might be a very brief contestant.

To be frank at this stage it's her competition to lose . Many hate Misha because she's Misha and is now more pantomime villain . Kitty is cabaret .Janet is one dimensional and wildy inconsistent . Marcus is a performer more than a singer .Craig has an ok voice and little charisma. Little mix are probably the only real challengers at this stage if you rule out Misha who deserves to be there but won't get public support so it would probably be better if she just left tonight .

Mischa and Little Mix are my favourites and I hope they dont suffer by Ameilia's return given that some seem to be treating her as the Second Coming.

I think Kelly should have made some comment about her mistake in sending her home in the first place. She's very good at her little jokies and one-liners so she could have quipped something and got away with it.

By not mentioning it she's made herself look daft.

I actually think Amelia will win now.
