Kitty wanted to sing a Lady Gaga song and she seemed to think she got the song of her choice and in came Kelly with her act Misha B and she had her song taken from her.

So she had to (at the last minute) learn a whole new song for this week, it's a total stitch up.

We all know Kitty (on her day) has by far the best voice of the whole competition and I think Kelly stole her original song choice to throw her off her game.

If Kitty is in the bottom two she'll go, but at the same time I have a feeling she may scrape through by the skin of her teeth.

We don't know yet if she is in the bottom two maybe her not getting that song to sing might get her votes?

Kitty is great but the song wasnt hers and it wasnt stolen from her, they have a rota and Kelly had first pick of song choices.

remember when louis pulled the same stunt on dannii? saying she stole the song from jls and she ended up in tears? no wonder he`s had enough, no new tricks up his sleeve.

Oh yeah I remember that. That was some awkward television.

Oh,boo hoo

Karaoke Kitty knows a whole show's worth of similar Ga Ga songs ,but by whinging about that one song, she predictably and obviously tried for sympathy while avoiding playing up the fact that she is a Ga Ga tribute act with a nasal toned mediocre voice by performing a Ga Ga song.

At this stage,a mediocre singer with little real talent like Kitty is can't win.Being the last weak act left, she will be bottom 2(again.) The only question is wheather she'll get deservedly voted off or jump the Waissel shark(again) and continue to be the unwanted act that's not good enough but keeps getting saved for drama(again)

I think any of Kitty, Craig, Little Mix and Misha could be in the bottom two so, in my opinion, she does stand quite a good chance of going through, although admittedly it does seem less likely for her to go through than the other three (death slot, bottom two twice already).

I think Craig is completely forgettable so he might be there (although, I think this every week ) and maybe Misha, purely because she was overshadowed by Amelia at the end.

Maybe I'm just wishful thinking. I'm praying Kitty gets through! She can't go home tonight...

You know, if Kitty loves Lady GaGa so much, she should have picked another song by her. Bad Romance? LoveGame? Just Dance?
I may be the only one that thinks this, but not doing a GaGa song may have been the best move. It may have come across as a pastiche, and a bad one at that. I thought her rendition of Live and Let Die was stellar. I think if she did Killer Queen or even Crazy Little Thing Called Love, she'd have nailed it. I'm no Kitty fan, but I look forward to her performances.

Yep, Kitty has been thrown under a bus this week.

I don't believe for a moment that Kitty ever planned to sing a Lady Gaga tribute on Lady Gaga week. She desperately wants to distance herself from being an impersonator. The story about the song massages viewer expectations that's all.

Last minute? Are you just pulling this out of your arse? Who said it was last minute?

The rotation was known by all the mentors and judges, and probably by the contestants too. It wasn't pulled out last minute.

Besides, the WORST thing for Kitty would be for her to go back to the predictable "Gaga Light" well she's visited far too often. Being FORCED to do something different could only help her.

It does make you wonder why did she say that in her VT knowing they would take the more OTT aspects and just use that.Hasnt she learned anything from the Recorded part of the show?

the VT for her last night did more damage than anything IMHO.
I do think she would have done a better job than Mischa B.

Honestly, I think she probably WAS upset she didn't get the song.

That doesn't mean she was right to be upset. Or that she herself thinks the song was "stolen" from her the way others are characterizing. But I DO think her reaction was genuine. Just wrong. Being stuck in that little Gaga-Lite box? Not helping. And its a shame for her that she doesn't realize (or believe) that audiences can SEE she's being derivative and don't like that.

It does make me chuckle slightly when people say that Kitty has been stitched up. Why and how? She's hardly challenging herself if she is crying because she isn't able to sing a song on the live shows that she probably sings every week at her pub gigs or wherever she does them. She should be wanting to show that she can move away from the "tribute GaGa" tag that she has.

Kitty has been stitched up throughout the whole series - mainly by the program makers from the (edited) vt footage shown of her and the press that have painted her as some disillusioned witch from the word go.

With regard to songs however - there are other GaGa songs she could have chosen - and as the show is supposed to be all about the acts - then she (any of them) could stand firm by this (Craig chose his own song week one - but maybe that's because he's one of the 'chosen ones')

At the end of the day though - Queen was a totally inappropriate song for some of these acts (especially DSMN).

I suppose you could say (and this doesn't only apply to Kitty) that if you're worth your salt - then you should be able to sing ANY song.

Either way - she's bottom two tonight (I'm sad about that because she's one of the most entertaining people in there) and it doesn't matter who's in the bottom with her - this'll be her third time and she's toast.

I don't see how anyone can say she was stitched up, as others have said there were plenty of songs she could have chosen. If that particular song was so important to her why hasn't she sung it in her survival spots when she was in the bottom two. She was complaining at boot camp about not getting the song or part of a song she wanted to sing, it's not all about her. We see and hear an awful lot about Kitty being upset and in tears over something or other, she needs to get on with it and make the best of the opportunity.

You can always tell when someone is being stitched up. Early slot in the running order, poor song choice. lukewarm judges comments- did Kelly even bother to comment at all? It's exactly what happened with Nu Vibe, Sami, Johnny and Sophie. It's becoming so blatantly obvious to spot they may as well not even bother with the results show it makes it so predictable who is going.

After Kitty, along comes Craig and despite being no better than Kitty, it's multiple orgasms all round for all 4 judges after he performs.

Yeah that was obvious soon as she went on first. I don't know how people still give their money to this show.

Good post. Sometimes the judges look awkward when giving out comments, almost as if they have been told what to say but are not entirely happy with it.

I would rather watch Kittys performances than watch Janet and Craig with their boring voices just stood on one spot. The show needs some life in it and Kitty provides that.

I think it was the first time ever an act that was in the bottom 2 the previous week opened the show.
