...at this stage, we must assume that Jason's star is falling.

They've played their joker. Does this mean Mr Donovan is losing support?

He DJs a radio programme on Heart (in MidlandsVille) and says he's cream-crackered. There are some listeners who feel he wouldn't be averse to being kicked out.

The BBC must think he's a big gun - what with all that 'superstar' hype and won't want him to go.

Thoughts?

They probably had to do it soon before she ages beyond recognition.

Not so much 'ageing' as 'Botoxing' beyond recognition.

Yes, good point.

The 'Jennifer Grey' effect whereby everyone says: "Who's that woman? Are we meant to know?"

Well I thought it was lovely to see Kylie, but then again I think I'm in the minority of two (Terry and I) who like Jason.

I'm learning to like him from a very bad view of him at the start of the contest. Thought he was really good last night. In my top 3 or 4 each week now.

I like him too....and love Kristina so its a win win for me.

Doubt he will win though....Chelsee & Pasha have this sewn up....they are the couple of least resistance.....some people dont like Jason (so not likely to win).....some people dont like Aliona (so Harry is disadvantaged) not much negativity around Chelsee & Pasha...they are 'sweet' 'cute' 'I didnt expect to like her but I really do' (I fall into the last catagory myself) Writing on the wall.

I like Jason too! I also like Kylie. Anyone whose lasted as a singer this long can't be doing too bad. She's still filling the arenas up. Probably just another excuse to have a go at Jason. He got a bit of a reprieve last week with all the attacks on Lulu but its back to him again now.

Harry has his fellow Mcfly boys, Russell has his Kylie "tweet", Anita has Brian May, Holly has Princess B, so I don't see why Jason can't have his old friend Kylie on his VT! I thought it was sweet.

I'm still gutted he didn't Rhumba to Angry Anderson

You all are too cynical. These are their friends or families, they are not there to use their celebrity and influence you. I know they do not influence me. I do not feel an urge to go and buy their CDs or pick up a phone and vote for them because of who they are friends with. If you were there dancing you sure would not mind having your friends say a few nice words about you, would you.

Stop knocking little Kylie, I love her!

I certainly didn't mean to knock Kylie (although I do think she's talentless) but rather to suggest she's a 'big name' and her appearance may be intended to boost Jason's popularity.

I don't think anything that happens on SCD is without staging and intent.

It would have been lovely, I'm sure!

Suddenly you're seeing me, just the way I am!
Suddenly you're hearing me,
So I'm talking just fast as I can, to you!
Suddenly, every part of me,
Needs to know every part of you!

So in truth then, Jason is only getting the same sort of treatment that any other celeb gets, except that Kylie is a big name for some (even though she is over here, a fellow Aussie, and both Jason & Kylie go back a long way, and it would be surprising not to feature her, especially as she is out & about doing some promotional work at the moment).

No, because that was only VT Kylie.
We still have Kylie-in-person to go.

Exactly. Lots of celebs have their mates/family in the audience.

Ain't that the truth!

I thought it was quite sweet that Kylie did a message - why shouldn't she if she's an old friend? It's not like the Beeb made a big fuss about it; she didn't even get a name-check, or, if she did, I missed it.

I voted for Jason, btw!

Those wretched McFlies really are the pits. If Aliona weren't enough to put me off then the McFlies certainly do.
