I also find it very annoying when she morphs into retard mode like that.

Maybe it's a cover for having nothing of note nor original to say?

My favourite was: "Who knew you were doing uptempo. Eowh owh." (On floor-fillers night)

I'm wondering how long 'til she copies Beyoncé's "Um Um Honey B".

I dont know why Kelly does it. I have to say, alexandra burke did the same with her whole .com rubbish.

I think these women just arent smart enough to express themselves properly. Tulisa never lapses into urban slang, even though she must be more familiar with it because of her background and music style.

Its just her way of doing errs and umms when she hasn't a clue.

How is she suppose to speak like Cheryl Cole with a Geordie accent? "She's right up my street"

It IS pretty much the same kind of thing, whether people want to recognize that or not.

If Kelly is being paid to be irritating, then she is earning every penny... Sista

On her interview with Graham Norton earlier this week, she seemed completely different that X Factor. Much more relaxed and not putting on a show.

I think she's being told to go all out with her Americanisms. It's the same principal in America where on TV all Brits are portrayed as speaking the Queen's English, drinking tea out of a china cup and saying 'jolly good show, pip pip, spiffing old chap'...

I'd love to see Kelly trying to give her comments in Geordie.

As someone has suggested, it seems to be a smokescreen as she has little of interest to say. The hardest thing about being a judge seems to be not the feedback but the weekly feedback.

I could judge the X Factor easily. We all could. We do daily on here. But I don't think I could do it weekly on the show and have something new to say every week.

Look at Louis: he says the same soundbites every week. Sometimes the same words. This week he told Craig (for the second week running) he reminded him of Gary Barlow.

Kelly does the same but sidesteps it by going 'ghetto' but that's her thing. But essentially she has nothing further to add than what she's said in previous weeks.

Whilst it can be annoying, it has produced two of the best quotes this season (for me)

1. I just wanted to throw my pen at you like SING BOY!

2. I just love me some YOU

These both made me chuckle

I don't think it's 'ghetto' mode whatever that's supposed to mean - if anything, is quite offensive, imo, she doesn't live in a ghetto! However, I would say Kelly has her moments when she descends into childish behaviour which can be irritating, but when she does give critique most of the time it's constructive and spot on.

That "who knew blah blah UP TEMPOOOO" thing made me want to put my foot through the TV. It really does make me recoil in horror.

It's annoying, but she's probably told to play it up as much as possible for the cameras. It doesn't mean that she can't string a sentence together in real life, as some deluded souls like to suggest.

That was just weird
It reminded me of when Randy J would say stuff like "Yo... yo, it's kinda pitchy dawg, I'm not getting it"
