Nice photos of backstage on a Saturday night, but the rest....

She really needs to button it. I'm heartily sick to the back teeth of her. God be with the days when talent & hard graft meant something.

I loved it. Found it really funny. Nancy is such a diva and colourful character and I do miss her (but not her dancing!). I loved some of the comments

"The show has completely lost its elegance"
"I'm a Virgo, modest and shy, intelligent - very very intelligent - extremely feminine"
"It's not about getting the steps right - I get them wrong most of the time, but that's not the point".

And Jason's comment "You need subtitles to understand her, but she's the perfect vibe to have in this show".

The Sunday Times is now behind a paywall. Not that the STM was ever fully available online...

I have the STM here but it's always the last bit of the bundle I read. Now I have been pre-warned I'll avoid that section like the plague. Ghastly woman.

You need to invest £1 to read this article, top story in Sunday Times magazine. Could the wealthy posters please transcribe the article for us poor people?

So Nancy is right after all -- the secondmost famous Italian after Sophia Loren.

One week after elimination Signiora Nancy is still hogging the headlines while poor Signior Berlusconi does not merit a mention one day after his elimination after 17 years.

Just read it. I'm sure some of it is tongue-in-cheek but not all!

She actually thinks that Strictly is finished now and there won't be another series - because of the travesty of her going out too early! Everybody loved her, apparently. Well, obviously not the GBP!

Shows photo of the piles of slippers for the celebs backstage, and a photo of a few pros backstage (Erin, James) waiting for the live show. Rest is unlikely worth the small fee required (rephrased....)

I really think people are taking it too seriously. It is just an amusing article (which I did find very funny). It includes gems such as a reference to having to wear a velour dressing gown from somewhere like Marks and Spencer - Oh the horror!

And a warning to all. Apparently she and Anton are considering working on another project!

Does Anton know about this?

as in a replacement for Sven/Trevor perhaps I think journalist who wrote the article did so with their tongue firmly planted in their cheek, tbh - but I think she may well believe what she is saying when no-one else does.........

In other media coverage today she says that Sven was insanely jealous thinking she was having an affair with - wait for it - Tony Blair. And that she had five miscarriages - two with Sven. She was pleased because she didn't think she would make a good mother. So why get pregnant so many times?

I feel I shall have to shift my birthday as I do not want to be tarred by association with the Looney-Tune.
