Jesy needs to toughen up. Period. It seems like half of Little Mix's VTs involve her having a breakdown of some sort. We know she's at least 18. The US XF has much younger contestants.

Also, she has 3 other supportive band mates and a supportive mentor, unlike some of the other acts.

i agree her skin needs to be a little bit thicker.... in the industry you face critics all the time she needs to learn to deal with that...

i was humbled by watching the x factor australia by little declan sykes attitude. i loved that little guy and he suffered MUCH more criticism than she did and declan is much younger than her.. i dont think shes got the attitude to go far really, she would crumble at the first press conference when someone said so do you think your good enough for the band! she needs to be toughened up!

As someone who hasn't experienced the whirlwind that The X Factor is - I'm not going to sit behind a computer and judge someone for having a "moment" when I obviously wouldn't have a clue about what it's like myself.

Yeah she probably does need to toughen up but she normally does a good job on the show so I'm not going to complain.

Well that's what she's doing right now. Learning from her experience. It was obviously tough for her, especially being called ugly by ignorant people on the internet.. can't have been easy if she wasn't prepared for that type of personal attacks. Also this week I don't think she had a "breakdown" down to the comments made about her, she was worried about letting Tulisa down.

Awww Jesy is lovely, you can't help being an emotoinal person, you don't know what's going through her head. don't think she needs to toughen up at all, just be herself.

yep I agree. I think it generally has been tougher for her due to lack of self-confidence. But she learns from that and she is gaining experience. It's a lot harder than it seems being in that position. It's not as simple as "she decided to be in this industry, it's her fault and she needs to grow up". I believe she does and she will get better and stronger by the minute. But since this is the beginning, she is going to have break downs and unfortunately for her the whole world is going to see it and judge. Things will change though and I hope she starts to believe in herself more.

Also on this weeks Vd week 6 she really was talking and smiling alot.
Must be hard work for all of them they are upping there proformances as they know now they have a chance to go future,
You look at it this way did not expect to get past first week seen other groups go and now the only group still in the running and a girl one at that.
I would say they are under a lot of pressure and good luck to them they will go far already on youtube people from other countries are watching them willing them on and asking us the British public to vote for them.
