Well after missing last week, and admittedly being surprised at the risk going and not so surprised at Knob Jockey Frankie Cocainozza leaving I find it incredible that they didn't allow all of the peeps voted out to be allowed to maybe bring voted back in it would still be the publics choice...(allegedly)

Watching last night made one thing clear to me for the x factor to survive one major thing needs to happen.

Get rid of the themes and have the contestants choose from 50 or so songs and let them choose and them only! Maybe let them draw the song out of a hat on the xtrafactor?

Whatever they do it, it needs to happen!

On last night shows I was thinking Marcus is going Down the rat pack style with a modern edge bit like Jersey Boys.

I did like what he did but thought his vocal was a bit off. Kitty was doomed to fail and she did, she has pipes but last night I found it tiresome, it's a bit like Lady GaGa take away all the gloss of meat clothing and odd stage setups and what do you really have a 90s version of Madonna.

Craig bored me to tears did not like it at all he is Joe Mcwhoever but a large version.

Little Mix the kids are going to love could easily see them on a Disney style programme with a cartoon, I thought they were pretty good last night in a bubblegum pop kind of way. They are getting tighter as a group could have a decent stint for a few years.

Janet, I honestly thought it was a good change and was pretty darn well sang, the issue is she has not been allowed to do what she wants, it's written all over her face, give her the bloody guitar and do a folky song, bob fylan or something along those lines, maybe a jack Johnson track!

Misha, just didn't get it last night, there is something not quite right about Misha not sure what, sintering she is beyond good others she is terrible, I think it's way to much confidence!

Amelia was very good but I still can't help but thunk of how bad she was week 1.

Will be interesting to see what happens tonight.

Reading the posts last night so much negative critisicm about how songs were sang I think people need to realize that the producers who are a bit shite to he honest are now ramping up the pigeon holes of were they think the artists will make the moolay once this show is done!

Commercially Little Mix are probably going to be the most successful in the short term, but I honestly good see Janet having a long career if she goes down the guitar folky route. As for the rest I'm not sure, Misha will probably do well.

Looking forward to the voice when it starts!
