Misha - End Slot yet still Bottom Two
loreal_q

Do you reckon we will see the producers give up on her now? She was given the best 'pimp' slot and yet was still in the bottom. True, Amelia followed her but that was after a significant amount of time and shouldn't really have mattered. I am not a Misha fan but I still think she can sing and doesn't deserve to go home yet.

Has anyone else ever had the last slot and finished in the bottom two.

She will be there again next week, just wait and see. Her personality is not exactly endearing.

I think Danyl might have, but I think it was in the latter stages of the competition.

Yeah they've been even more manipulative than usual this series. I said last week that the only time Kitty had not performed late in the show she was in the bottom 2, and that obviously the later slots were giving her a boost. This week she performed first, so she was always going to struggle.

Misha B has also had good late slots since being in the bottom 2, and yet they've not done much for her vote, time for her to go.

Amelia had the end slot, not that I believe in all this death slot crap.

Don't think so .. Danyl was bottom just once to my knowledge and it was not this late in the show.

Misha is not getting votes as people are not buying in to her or her singing.. thats all I can see. She thought she was the winner, but I think not and never have to be honest with you.

Yeah I was mistaken. I think what I was on about was that he was voted out in the semi final where he performed last. The slots don't really matter by that stage though.

She didn't have the end slot, Amelia did. If anything I'd have least liked to have Misha's slot, because no matter how good she was (And she wasn't her best last night), she'd be leading up to a massive performance hyped from the start of the show (And in this case, it was also a fantastic vocal)

No only the AD BREAKS matter by that time... seen it all before with Journey South and the ad breaks.. to know that makes a difference and it did with Dan.. shame as he has a lovely voice and all the nastiness and he still ended up 4th.. any other act would have been out...

I know Katie W last year, it was a double elimination so she was automatically out. Not sure about any other years.

Well she had nine lives and that was the end of her, the judges had saved her once to often as it was.

I watched MB perform, heard the judges comments & all I could think was "the words & figures did not match."

It was like they were talking about a totally different experience; or maybe they were just referring to the dress rehearsal?

I agree with you, I did not think she was her best on Sat.

Going second to last and ending up bottom two means she hasn't much support at all.

I think by this point in the competition most of them have already begun to build up fan bases so the positioning isn't as important. I also don't think its been as important since the results show moved to a Sunday night as most people who are likely to vote but may have missed part of the show will have caught up on all of the performances before the results programme and will therefore still have plenty of time to vote.

Agree. Also I think the whole Kitty didn't get her song choice because Misha got it didn't help either.

I think her doing a GaGa song rather than a Queen song didn't help.
