For anyone watching the "Barlow Family Album" please keep and eye out for what I think was the most violent soap slap ever - Ken hitting 2nd wife Janet.

I remember a few years back in Eastenders, when Peggy found out about Frank and Pat's affair on Bonfire Night. She read out aloud Frank's departure letter to everyone in the Queen Vic, and then she slapped them both. They were both really hard, but I remember the slap she gave to Pat more. You could tell that it was a real slap, and it was really loud too.

Also in Coronation Street, when Karen and Steve pretended to split up or something, and when Steve was talking about it to Eileen, she slapped him REALLY hard. I remember watching an interview, and the actor who plays Steve said that she nearly knocked him out. His eyes rolled round, and he literally nearly fell over!

I worked at Manchester Piccadilly station for a few years and you saw all the street stars coming through. Whether they were just going home for the weekend or travelling down to London for interviews, photo sessions or the awards.
All the stars always got the same kind of reaction from the public. The look and stare, point or shout "There's so and so from Coronation Street".
Expect one.
When the Natalie/Kevin thing was going on Denise Welch was stood at the end of platform 5 and people were walking around her, people were actually avoiding her. And I've never seen a TV actor get looks like she was getting. If looks would have killed she wouldn't have been with us now.
That's when you know a story line is working.

When Angie Reynolds found out about Tara and Sean's affair in Emmerdale, that slap was really hard! Actually, thinking about it, it was more of a punch really!! Another one was Shelley slapping/punching Peter in Corrie!

I was going to say Chas Dingle and anyone unfortunate enough to f*ck with off, but she never really slaps, she always punches them. She battered Louise, floored Colleen and who knows what she’s going to do to Chloe.

What about Cain slapping Debbie in tonight's Emmerdale? That will be difficult to beat. Did you see the mark left on her face?
