and yet the only reason you like a lot of others apparently took notice of the vote to begin with was because by following Josie you became aware of it, so she may not be your chosen role model that you decided after consideration to vote for but without her name being involved would you have even known the vote was happening? and that's all that really matters in media/PR terms when all's said and done isn't it, to raise the profile of events and interest in subjects someone wants to throw a spot light on and including her name brings in an audience for them that otherwise would probably have been ignored altogether

I wouldn't worry about it, none of it will affect Josie in an adverse way, the reverse actually, the mere mention of her name tends to create a reaction/interest in some, indifference is what kills media interest, controvesy fuels it and the positive comments from fans, work colleagues, media types far and away outweighs any of the negative stuff that's put out by people who it's pretty clear to anyone with even the slightest objectivity can see have their own particular axe to grind

Yep the pro Josie and anti Josie uber followers or should I say fanatics continue to prove once again they haven't really got a brain cell between them *shruggs*

Well I'm one of them, I follow Josie but I don't vote on online polls never have. It's really not so strange that only what you might call hard core fans or anti fans vote on these kind of things, it's what generally happens in nearly all online polls, you might have people who'll devote time and effort multi voting in order that their particular favourite WIN something but most don't bother or maybe just vote once if they can be arsed, look at all the pop band and music fans that do stuff like this all the time, it's just a different version of the same thing and it really doesn't mean much, sure it's nice if you win and it might be something another media publication could mention if they're doing a piece on you but in real terms what's the real value? not much really.
