On Saturday afternoon Laura wanted to play on PC so I turned on TV to see what was on, and ended up watching 2 episodes of TOWIE for the first time ever. I was stunned at how seriously THICK some of the people on there were and could understand some of the anger I'd heard about from other people living in Essex at feeling they are being represented by these people. They all struck me as pampered people with very insular lives.

I think with Mark Wright going into the jungle they got the best of the bunch though
my feelings exactly my grandaughter had it on i thought it was dreadful, can understand all the essex jokes now

Doesn't she say he knows about her wish to do so but that they haven't discussed it (presumably in the context of doing it together) yet (wtte)? I guess if he knows that's a deep wish of hers, then at some point they will have to decide whether that's the route they are both going to take together or not, or make compromises to fullfill both their wishes.

I don't think it was ever John's wish to move to the country - Josie always talked about it, but I could never see John doing it to be honest.
I do think John would have liked to move from Central London as he said he would like to move to Essex. I think he would have liked to live more in the suburbs much like his home in Oz, I don't think either John or Josie wanted to move to somewhere completely isolated, Josie needs company, she has often said that she likes to chat to the postman, nieghbours, delivery men or she will go outside in the hope she sees someone to talk to.
On a minor point, although it sounds very romantic and idylic, I think Josie should think again about buying a cottage, I looked at several "cottages" in 1996 when I moved to Dursley in Gloucestershire, they were all tiny with low ceilings (Luke is 6' 5" -hello) and small windows. Perhaps her definition of a cottage is different to estate agent descriptions.

CSA have confirmed that I should finally get some money this week, with the £2k they owe me arriving within next two weeks, yay

However, I seriously have not one idea as to what to get Laura for Xmas!! She doesn't play with toys, can't have a bike (which she wants) as she would have to have a specially adapted one and we have no room to put one anyway. Have absolutely no idea what to get her! I guess I shall trawl the shops when the money comes and just pick up ideas as I go.

LOL reminds me of when we visited a distant relative once, my Dad's 6'2, my brothers are 6'3 and 6'4 and the relative lived in a really old cottage - all the men in my family had neck-ache after a few hours

I think the term cottage is probably used more loosely these days, I guess she wouldn't buy anywhere with Luke - if it came to that point - without them both viewing the place first

Hi GP

Laura has an old kids scooter that she can still (barely) fit on but we've kept cause it has 4 wheels and is wide; she can only use her left hand so these new scooters, which are hardly wide or great for balance, aren't really suitable for her... I know she'd like one though

Right, I have to get Laura from club - Chillax today, which usually means I'm paying for Laura to do what she could do at home ... go on the computer It gives her some company and something to do though

So glad they are running a disabled playscheme for first 3 days of Xmas hols - first time ever, shows they listen ; although Laura would only be able to go to one day, that's the day of their Xmas party which she would love and it would give me a day to do some shopping

Have a good evening all, wonder what tonight's IAC trial will bring BUUUUGGGGSSS

I agree. I got the impression John lived in the suburbs and that could be quite near the countryside, I think it was def near the sea/beach. I live in a large town but 2 mins away from me is greenbelt farmland and a short drive (5-10 mins) takes you into the middle of nowhere. I think when Josie talks about living in the country she just means she doesn't want to live in a huge metropolitan city. I've never been to Bristol but I'm sure it's quite a busy place. I think she probably means she would like to live in a house, with a large garden (maybe a field for her sheep!) on the outskirts of Bristol or similar, where she has easy access to town living but countryside on her doorstep, best of both worlds really. And I think that's the type of place John lives in at the moment and so don't see him having a problem living somewhere like that here. However, he's not here and we'll never know

With regard to Mark's tweet to Josie last night questioning who Luke is, I think he's a bit of a wind up merchant. I seem to remember in January that he was tweeting out ridiculous nonsense about where Josie was and what she was doing because he thought the effect it had on her fans, particularly us, was funny - he would tweet and we would discuss, sometimes within 2 mins of the tweet lol. I remember feeling a bit annoyed at the time because he was def laughing at us and the implication was that Josie was too, although when I thought about it we did/do jump on any info that came our way so I suppose it is quite funny/weird. So because of this, I am going to assume he sent that deliberately because he knows there are some people who don't believe Luke is a b/f and wants to fuel the fire, cos he thinks it's funny.

I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt re his tweet to John - I do think it's nice he tweeted him and hope it was sent sincerely and not just to see what reaction it causes on here and twitter. Am I a cynic - yes, always have been and John and Josie and their relationship is the only time I haven't been.

I was thinking about the tweet from Mark, he must be aware that JJJ are no longer together as Josie went to stay with him in Marbella shortly after the split, how much he knows of Luke is anyones guess. In order for Mark to tweet John he needed to know his current twitter account as John changed it when he went bach to Oz, there are several John James accounts on twitter so how did he know the right one to tweet unless Josie told him I don't think John will see ithe tweet anyway as I suspect he doesn't follow Mark, he only quite recently added Sam, Dave and Mario after his massive cull several months ago. It may all be a wnd-up who knows I do hope it was a genuine tweet though and if Josie did give Mark the twitter account details I think it is rather nice, I have long suspected that it was Jos that gave Mark Henderson Johns e.mail details which enabled him to make contact and brought John briefly back to twitter, if it was her I think that was a nice thing to do. I think I'm thinking too much - I have a headache worrying about John and Josie
