Well i'll talk to myself then.
I was talking to my neighbour about the times i have had
had a holiday planned and things went wrong.
My very first planned trip to Ireland for instance.
My son was driving myself and my cousin (who was coming with me)
to the ferry .......a four hour journey from here.....In the middle of the night.
It was very foggy that night even though it was in April.
We were as i said driving along and making good profress when all of a sudden
the lights dimmed and my son said "oh no we are losing all power " or wtte.
There were lots of lorries on the road that night and can you imagine being
on the motorway with all these lorries screaming past and all power and lights
failing.
IT was scary . Luckily we were right near a slip road and my son managed to coast the car off the motorway.
We spent the night at an AA depot somewhere.
I managed to just catch my other son ......in Ireland ....just as he was leaving
home to drive to Dublin to pick us up from the ferry.
The car had to stay there for repairs so we had to wait for yet another son
to come and pick us up and take us home again.
So thats how my trip Jinx started.
Profress is another word for progress
