I thought the Test Card jpeg looked just as bad, must be an old pic as the DOG is now in a different position. So I presume you don't get this problem with more modern TV's, or if you do you can adjust it. The test card isn't a photograph it's an actual frame grabbed from a 1440 x 1920 recording scaled to 1920 x 1080 by the media player used to grab it. There's a losslessly compressed .png version on the same file share site. |

@IQ1: measure your TV. It might by 15x9 rather than 16x9.
The cropping top and bottom is typical - the cropping at the sides is extraordinary. Cheers, David. |

Had the same problem as IQ1 with the B missing on the left and Press....(RED) on the right. The Sagem arrived, picture fits the screen perfectly but is noisy, buzzing all the time. Now what
Will wait and think about it or wait 'till dso and trust my PVR.
