I think it's a complete shame that so many people bought into the whole panto villian shtick the show was trying to sell you as. I really enjoyed your performances every week, looked forward to you and thought you went out with grace and dignity. My fave was Sweet Dreams a couple of weeks back. I always have a level of skepticism when it comes to potential impersonators, but if this is the real Kitty - or if the real Kitty reads this by proxy - well done on the show. You proved your talent and also provided a good dose of likeability (contrary to Barlow's script, likely written by a producer who was tied into the M&S advert - ooh, controversial! )

PS I'm a bloke in my 30s who prefers Rammstein and Evanescence to the likes of Gaga, so if you won me over you've got yourself a career when you get signed, as your potential audience demographic is likely to be wide-ranging.

I haven't really watched the X Factor much over the years but I watched the judges' houses week and saw you jumping into the pool (and Louis and Sinitta's pretend outrage, what was that about?) and thought you were fab and kept on watching week after week really just for you.

You have been brilliant, I loved all your performances and I thought you looked and sounded like a 1981 Kim Wilde (a very good thing IMHO). I think the public have warmed to you much more than the X Factor script would allow and I hope you will have a fantastic long career xxxx

Kitty, no matter how much negative publicity or manipulation from the producers you received, I think we all saw you as a brilliant performer and one of the best singers overall in the competition. Your sing off performances were great As a forum, we all love you!

What I'd love to know is whether you would have preferred to have sung more stripped back performances rather than the big productions every week?

Your rendition of 'Somewhere over the Rainbow' was beautiful. Your other performances were the highlights of the live shows. I wasn't a fan from the auditions, like many others on here, but you won me over. Very sad to see you go but by god you went in style!!! Don't listen to all the negativity, you know who you are and what your capable of.
