Every year IAC is pushed aside for the stupid football.

They should air the show on ITV2.
Everyone has access to that channel nowadays, so it shouldn't be a problem.

I have every sympathy with your view. I would extend it to having a national side with an Italian manager. Bizarre, truly bizarre.

Why should all the football have to be on subscription sports channels, when there are hours and hours a day of tedious soaps and reality shows broadcast free to air? A couple of hours a week, and not even every week, is hardly that much is it?

They could quite easily have put IAC on ITV2 tonight, they did keep the spin off show afterwards, so it's not like everyone took the night off - and these kind of tacky shows are much more suited to ITV2 anyway... Or even stick all of the reality shows on some kind of Sky subscription channel, and see how many follow it there...

I didn't watch the football tonight (England are dire usually in friendlies), but for those of us who don't subscribe to the extortionate sports channels, it's one of the few chances to see football on free to air...

And with Freddie now out of IAC, can't see it being too interesting, if that excuse for a comedian Chrissy is the best they've got to cover...

Very annoying,I hate football,I don't see why other shows get shoved aside for it.I'm sure many folk don't like football or are interested in it at all.

As I said, it was from memory. 9.45, 10.00. It's all the same to me.

I know nothing about football whatsoever btw.

I mentioned the fact why the need for football highlights to be shown after the news on the general tv forum, and got bitten at.

I got told, do u realise, people go out in the evening, work and out for meals etc, and may not be home till after 10.

If u wanted the football that much, u would say no to meal.

This is coming from a big football fan

It pisses me off big time. We in Scotland (for obvious reasons) didn't get the England game. But IACGMOOH still gets bloody cancelled.

Thats rubbish. A very low % of viewers actually have Sky.

I would agree for a club match - but a national match must be on terrestrial TV.

As to the timings, England matches are show because ITV have paid LOTS to have the privileage. The schedule is known months before the games, and if it really was a problem thy could have started IAC a week later. Personally I dont see thie issue with having a one day break TBH.

Its not as is IAC isnt on every other day of the week, and IAC NOW was still on as normal for your fix.

As far as soaps go - wed all be better of if they were all canned - complete garbage

Problem was the england friendlys weren't set in stone till about 4 weeks ago, when the Euro 2012 Qualifying matches were over, as if England had come second, last nights match would have been more important.

If England had to play away last night, IAC would still have been shown, as the away England matches are Sky's.

If it had been a home tie, last nights schedule would have stayed the same

I'm a huge footie fan, but I have little interest in England friendlies.

CL is a different matter though.

ITV have 4 channels to utilise, with at least two that most people have access to now, and they still can't get it right. I wish they'd sort it out, because there is no reason why a lot of stuff they cancel for football couldn't be shown on ITV 2.

will IAC be finished by Wednesday 7 December, or will we be stuck in the same position

I honestly think they should just make an ITV sport channel.

I'm sick of it, They interrupt the Soaps for it, Corrie was moved from Wednesday to Thursday just to cater to bloody football.

You know, Football SHOULD be on Sky Sports, Not everyone wants that crappy sport shoved in our faces.

All Football is, is overpaid men kicking a ball around for 90 minutes, Nurses/Doctors who save peoples lives should get the money Footballers do imo. Dispise Football, its crap.

I'd much prefer to watch Celebs camp thanks ITV =)

Why should a series which is on for a grand total of 3 weeks a year be moved around purely for the football? Football is continuously on throughout the year. I understand and completely agree with you that the soaps have to much screen time (repeats.)

If the football was going to be on which they'd have known I'm presuming way in advance? IAC should have been put on hold until after and started say, this weekend. Theres not really much of an excuse now NOT to put a sports channel on free to view on freeview etc. as nobody no longer has analogue.

And finally, your last point is matter of opinion. It's early in the series, so you never know who may/may not be interesting at this point in time.

Well it's not important to me, I couldn't care less about football.

I need my IACGMOOH fix, at least we have the ITV2 show with the lovely Laura though.
