Talk about clogging things up. Mannformmars has just added to the cloggage by starting a new thread. Anyway I think the poor threads are a bit of a laugh

Obviously that depends on your sense of humour or lack of it

As Executive Producer of EastEnders Choco & Co Productions, I demand an immediate halt to all these Poor threads! The next poster to start A Poor so and so thread with a character from my soap will be severely punished!

Humour is very much a subjective matter. There are people who laugh at The Office and think it is hilarious and other people who cannot stand it. People think last of the Summer Wine is funny others do not. Therefore just because you dont find the Poor threads funny does not mean that they are not funny. It all depends on your own perception of humour. Some may find them childish others do not. Simple as that. If you dont enjoy them just ignore them. There are plenty of threads on here which I dont enjoy. I just ignore them. Its quite simple really.

I think they should be stopped - not all of the people you have highlighted are in fact poor at all - some are positively rich - Mr Popopopodopopolous must be minted - he surely has a chain of EastEnd laundry's and as no one in London owns a washing machine he must rake it in....

Think you missed the point I made about 'private playground'.

He will be poor very soon - because under EE's new exec producer everyone on the square will be given a washing machine as part of a sensational new storyline

But that means shipping in washing machines to London - who knows what effect it might have on the city's infrasture - old old victorian drains might crumble under the pressure, the machine may bring disease with them....she better have thought it through because she could be opening up a big old can of worms here....

Or Me Alan?

I do not see the point in opening new topics about poor this and that one over and over so that all the good threads go to the next page.

I'm about to loose my bloody temper

Dont be so daft - Its nothing to do with the poster but the nature of the post. I do not have any personal grudge against you or fannianni.

If you mean you are about to LOSE your temper then count up to ten and after that just ignore posts which cause the temper tantrums

That's enough squabbling thank you, thread closed. I'll look into the other threads.
