Is Hayley really a farmer's daughter?
She seems a bit too posh to be working on a farm,
Is it all nonsense do you think? I do. |

Why on earth would it be nonsense? What benefit would that lie ever have?
Either way, loads of posh people buy country homes. Own a few animals, make a bit of money, a little way away from the rat race - lovely way to live your life. Nothing innately lower-class about that. Charming ideal for some, even. |

I've never seen anyone who works on a farm speak like Hayley does.
![]() Not all farmers speak with unintelligible West Country accents and have straw behind their ears and neither do their children. ![]() Also, don't confuse farmers with farm workers. |

For Farmers daughter read - Millionaire Land owners daughter that's probably not been within 100 yards of a crop or a cow.

Hayley's lovely - pity she is only 16, wish she was 10 years older...

hayley reminds me of a actress, can't put my finger to it.
I get the feeling that her and harry will get it on at some point, they seem very compatible. I can't ebelive I just said that about 16 year olds. |

Hayley comes from my area, Shrewsbury, and my brother knows a couple of people who used to go the girls High School with her, which is the generally more wealthy, posh girls. Just because she lives on a farm doesn't means shes some thick poor person.

Another case of confirmation bias overcoming intelligence.

OP - you need a bit more experience of the great wide world. Farmers come in all shapes and sizes and accents etc. Most I've known are even very well educated too, you know! :P Although many choose agricultural studies the daughters often choose more business oriented subjects.
So, seems perfectly normal to expect that Hayley is exactly who she says she is. |

Maybe it's just the area I'm from but all the farmers and their sons/daughters are privately educated. It really depends whether you're talking about the land owners themselves or those that work on the farm (though generally the land owner works on the farm too, they sound posh-ish regardless), and also where the family is from - the accents vary greatly.
