As string said 1D WMYB went straight to B list and Rihanna went straight to A list . Some don't even move off the C list before getting dropped. And moves like jagger didn't even make the play list yet charted at number 2 for weeks. I was just trying to point out that it is not the case of records going into the C list then B list then A list. It isn't as straight forward as that

And I agree that some songs don't move up from the C list, but this is what I said originally! "Usually] R1 add new songs to the C list, and they make they way up (or not) in the following weeks."

So LM are 10k down on last weeks midweek sales? We can probably see them as pretty close to last weeks total sales then; within about 30k of it.
They sold 38k up to Monday evening, so 17k yesterday. If they keep at the same pace for the rest of the week, by Saturday the tally will be 55k+68k, 123k. |

I actually though MW would have higher sales due to all the hype about the 'biggest pre order sales' etc. Still great sales though.
So LM are nearly at 300K? |

So that's Olly past the 500k sales mark (and there'll be another 30-40k to add for the last couple of days of this week) He should be about 120k ahead of where he was this time last year with his debut album, so I don't think there's much doubt that this second album will outsell his first.
Has any other XF act managed to sell more second time around? Edit - just remembered Joe (I forget him so easily ![]() )I don't think any other x factor has surpassed their debut album in sales. Well done Olly |
