Thanks, wasn't too sure. Did she perform on Dancing with the stars?

Well, if wikipedia is right, she has appeared on So you think you can dance and Strictly Come Dancing results shows. Her two main songs 'Jar' and 'Arms' seem to have featured in a number of US TV shows. It's kind of an alternative route to success without as much hard work in terms of talent show auditons or traditional touring. That's what interests me.

Very true, with any luck Want U Back will at least be moderately successful like the last two singles, hopefully a top 5 first-week placing, though its longevity may rest on whether Astro's guest verse ruins the charm of the song.

Personally I continue to get the impression (reinforced by the Swagger Jagger sketch on Alan Carr's NYE show) that she is remembered for SJ more than anything else. So IMO the more singles she can get out there (off of Sticks + Stones, off of the next album, from anywhere basically), the better public opinion of her will become. Especially if one of Beautiful People or End Up Here is released as a fourth single.

I'm not sure it will tho, given that her album has already sold 200k I'm not sure the single will sell much but if it keeps the album selling a bit longer that would be good too.

Plus none of us know whether Astro being added to the song will be an improvement from the album version or not

I wonder if 1D will reach 500k and Rebecca hit 400k?

How has Rhydian done so far with his album "Waves"? AFAIK it didnt really sell very much despite being well recieved as there was little promotion
He is having a career though.

LM down to No 92 after only 3 weeks..? I know the song didnt really suit them (it would have suited someone like Janet to a T or possibly Misha if she sang it gospel style) but - ouch
Chi
05-01-2012
As far as I know, Rhydian sold 2933 copies on his first week back in August, and the Haven forum gave a total of 9000 for it last week.
It's not much, but he hasn't had maistream promotion for ages

Thanks for this.

I include X Factor related acts in the weekly charts, whereas I have have only included X Factor acts in the overall sales.

Any numbers that people find relevant are welcome here specially if they give some context to X Factor sales.
However, I also keep track of numbers for some American Idol alumni for example, but I haven't included them because I don't find them relevant to X Factor charts & sales.
