I hope you don't have any nice furniture.

Puppies and young dogs tend to chew stuff when they get bored.

Wooooow, not a cat person then.

I'm not hugely against the theory of cats - it's the reality that causes problems

I know. My wife found that out last week. She takes her slippers to put on at work and one of her shoes got chewed up.

I'd be asking why the employer was taking dogs into work and allowing them to run wild chewing up people's possessions.

You could go into business looking after other peeps pets while they`re on holiday......thought about doing it myself. google it, you`d be amazed the number of peeps that do it for a living......just a thought. Hope all goes well and don`t spend it all at once.

Actually he is not too bad with dogs, as long as they are not after attention from me. He will happily sleep next to a dog, just not a cat.

Wife works at their house as a housekeeper/child-minder.

Very odd. Must think he's a dog then.

Does your wifre have an accent?

Just wondering.

I know the owners of the Staffie are good friends but just was surprised that they didn't even offer anything for the 5 weeks I had her. They re-imbursed me for the extra food I bought when what they gave me ran out. If it had been me I'd have offered something as kennels are about £12 a night, at least, so around £100 a week.

Well she's Filipino. Not an English accent no.

What? Do cats dress up as badgers or something?

I can take the usual level of forum banter - but I can't believe someone is actually dissing badgers. The stripes speak for themselves - come on - this argument is just black and white

I know she's Filipino. I mean when she speaks English is her Filipino accent strong?

I think they mean cats have moods and can like or dislike you at the drop of a hat. Dogs tend to be more consistant.

Quite strong yes. The 6 year-old she picks up from school and looks after until 7pm can understand her perfectly but her friend can't. She asked the other girl what vegetables she liked when she had tea there once and she whispered to her friend "I can't understand what your nanny is saying sometimes"

They gave me first chance otherwise they'd put them in kennels. Luckily wife says they're house-trained now.

Still, get to go in the park at least twice a day again.”

Hello Chris. Being as they are SAUSAGE dogs, if they get on your nerves you can wrap them in bacon and put 'em in the roasting tin with your turkey for your Christmas dinner.

(obviously, I'm only joking)

The boss at one place I used to work brought her Alsation dog to the office every day and it used to shit on the carpet in her office. She used to make one of us employees clean it up but after I started working there and she told me to I said "it's not in my job description" all the other girls followed my example.

Our sausage dog Scamp was 17 when he died in 1995. He was even randier than me, always shagging people's legs and coats that were hung up. Even tried to shag the cat but he scratched him every time yet he never learnt and did it again. We never had him done but should have!

You'd think her accent would have faded quite a bit after almost 20 years.

We looked after our neighbour's dog a while ago while they were having an extension done (it was just one afternoon while they were out)

My mum is from Malaysia, she moved over here in the 70's, but still has an accent. My fiancée has trouble understanding her at times.
