Mark my words, if Britney gets another song in the top 10 on iTunes again, you'll start hearing it on the radio. I think her next chance at doing that in the UK is when she releases a new songs that's not on the album though.”

BIB: In places like the UK and Australlia I think people generally do care. The casual person hears about a pop dolly miming once and will never forget it when criticising them.
Other contemporary pop stars like Katy Perry, lady gaga, Jessie J, hell even rihanna are performing LIVE with backing track.
Those girls are most definitely singing live be it for better or sometimes worse (katy doing firework for example). Once you do a whole show mimed (like circus was) you can't shake it off in countries like these with ease. That stigma stays and only her strong dedicated fanbase can ignore it because it's something they've been used to for a long time and saying the new show is 40% live or whatever % isn't good enough for the regular concert goer.
When we're seeing Katy perry do everything live even off key and dancing routines, and the same being done with rihanna and gaga it's just not cutting the butter unless it's all live with backing track.
