I always thought he'd come 2nd at least because of his massive fan base but I was worried he'd fall at the final hurdle because of the anti-Aaron vote, and Alex was always the unknown part of the equation. I think on the final day when his odds were improving all the time I began to think yes he could do this and started feeling more positive

Morning
I didn't buy into the anti Aaron vote being as big, or intense, as people thought. The numbers suggested it was marginally less then half of his positive support and, as I've no doubt said here before, people don't tend to vote in the same volume against as they do for. Plenty of people on here voted 100's, some 1000's of times for Aaron to win, it was always unlikely the anti voters would do those kind of numbers.
Watched Day 2 of the crypt task - also the day they had the film premiere in the BB house.
Great Aaron zinger:
The housemates are woken by an alarm call of howling zombies. Aaron: "That's my sex noise"!
On watching it again, I realise how awful Jay and Anton were with their stirring that evening and spinning the truth to suit their dastardly purposes. They were both nasty (especially Anton) about Faye as well in the crypt about how she came across, but when they came out of the house they said to her face that she came across well. The way they twisted the situation with Harry's convos with Aaron re Louise and Gemma in which Aaron didn't say anything bad at all and Jay also Jay saying to Faye and Jemma that Jemma was right to distrust Aaron - I actually dislike Jay more than Anton now. At least Anton didn't hide his hatred for Aaron - Jay was just super sly!!

Faye is very wifey.But even before it all started she said her attraction to him was to take care of him.What more could Aaron ask for apart from returing the favour? lol Even watching them on Gabby,it looked a married couple.She was there to support him and got into the role perfectly.Same goes with the BB final.Aaron's Mum should really be pleased.

I also assumed the anti-Aaron vote was larger because of all the negativity towards him by panellists and presenters on BBBOTS and OKTV! True about the numbers as well, we all multi-voted so our vote was always going to be stronger

On watching the first week episodes you see the witty Aaron with his one-liners and teasing of other housemates, but you don't yet see his soft side. Faye really brought that out of him by the last few weeks of the show.

Chantelle's fan base had dimiished by the time he went into UBB,it only resurfaced because they put in Preston and it looked like they might get back together.She was vulnerable and hurting at throwing away her marriage and people felt sorry for her.That is the only reason she got support.
Aaron would still be different from UBB hms,it would be hard to beat BD thou because Brian is all fun fun and Aaron is a more complex character,you either get him or you dont.The public dont have that patience in a 3 week show.Only a normal BB would work for Aaron.

He fell in love properly though he always had a soft spot for Faye from the start.She was the only person he would be upset about upsetting.Nothing got to Aaron unless it involved Faye.All his strops always came down to his insecurities about losing Faye.Even when he got upset with Jay and Louise at the end,it was about missing Faye which he admitted to in the exit interview.The presentgate upset him but if Faye had been there it wouldnt have gone that far.

I always dislike Jay more than Anton. Anton was easy to dislike because he automatically appeals to good v bad instinct, he was a panto character but nothing worse. Jay was very manipulative and lashed out whenever the house didn't fall in line with how he felt it should behave. From what we've heard from evicted housemates, I think we only had brief glimpses of his bad moods and aggression. They must have had an impact on the collective mood of the house.
As much as Jay was the competing Alpha male with Aaron, he was very easily influenced by the opinions of others. We saw this most obviously with Anton and Louise, and also how easily Aaron managed to sway his vote the week they were able to talk about nominations. It's interesting Aaron went for Jay over the perceived 'weaker' members of the 'wolfpack'.
Prior to the final week, Jay was more passive aggressive with Aaron than Anton ever was. Anton put his dislike out there for all to see, whereas Jay would give "He's a good lad but..." then slam Aaron for whatever aspect of his behaviour/character was getting to him at that particular moment in time. As you say, super sly

I am just on day 28 and Aaron and Harry are chatting.Aaron said he had never really spoken to Anton ever and does not get on with him.He also said Jay does not like him, though they speak.He can sense it.I remember Jay saying he had to bite his lip and tolerate some people.He also refered to aaron as "that" in that episode as in "that wont dominate you"
BB created a lot of trouble by revealing who topped the vote for aaron, delibertately of course.

There was an awful lot of negativity on those shows but it didn't reflect what we saw online on the forums or Facebook.

The snow task talk was my turning point . Aaron was dead serious about moving this beyond BB.It is when he told Faye that he felt it was a relationship even outside the house.Faye just smiled as if 'I was thinking that'.

I agree.It didnt reflect any thing,not votes or opinion.It just stayed talk on TV and became out of touch eventually.
