Aaron said at the beginning it was a game and clearly his strategy going in was to play them all, and make no friends. I think once he got in there he realised it wasn't going to be as easy as that cos he made friends and had emotional connections with them.
I think Aaron's game was that he read the other hms beautifully and knew what they were going to do even before they did it themselves and counter moved before they had chance to complete their move. I think that is the game that Aaron played in the house. that and providing entertainment for us (the dancing in the toilet for example and the way he spoke to the audience in the DR). Aaron's game was very much to the viewers and the HMs were for the most part just props for him imho. He was always loyal to his friends - but wasn't bothered that much about those he considered to be merely temporary housemates. I think the fact that he was more intelligent than the rest of them helped.
I think aaron is probably very good at reading people in real life and as such I don't think he was doing anything in the house that he wouldn't do on the outside in certain situations and as such he may not have even realised that is what he was doing hence his insistence that he was not playing a game.
apparently I do it myself at work - it has been pointed out to me that I play a beautiful game with many of my colleagues, hence my success in my chosen profession - thing is I don't even realise I am doing it (well most of the time

) and I think Aaron maybe in the same boat. He was never fake though and was always completely himself.
Just an observation and may of course be rubbish.
