However I would like to say that both of them need to grow up and try and squash this for their family's sake. Apologies need to be made and at this stage Jem will just have to tolerate her sister's choice and behave like a decent human being.
Family does not have to like Faye's choices but they do have to tolerate to ever have a relationship as two independent adults not children. It was only a gameshow and feel Jem needs to grow up and accept that Faye has made her choice. If she is anyway a good sister she would do this.
I certainly am not relishing in family members not speaking and not blaming faye or aaron. Jem needs to man up here and Faye and aaron accept graciously. Her mam has given him a chance and she should to. I was totally against Ma palmer interfering and felt for her daughters sake she should of waited till she came out to voice her concerns but Ma Palmer does seem to come across as a good mum with decent values. she seemed to be swept up in the anti aaron movement at the time. Still no excuse but Jem needs to follow her mam's example for the sake of years of discomfort for them all.”
I see things much more black and white.
1) Pushy, overbearing Mother from childhood.
2) Jem, inadequate in the Mother's eyes. Comes 2nd in local competions!
3) Pretty little Faye, pushed into things.Faye comes first.
4) Jem becomes a gladiator. Not the future Mother had hoped for.
5) Faye enters the BB house. Mother pleased, Jem infuriated (and said so in an interview before she knew she was to enter the house).
6) Jem enters the house. Trouble brews.
7) National humiliation of the Palmer family .... thank you Jem and Ma Palmer.
Sorry, I still believe they are awful people, with very strange and pushy views upon their children.
