It's a real shame because once Faye came out she became such a staunch defender of Aaron. If only she didn't have those bad three days!!

Harry was one of the biggest game players in there. He played both sides against the middle imho and every time he was about to get found out he dodged it somehow. Harry would have been in until the end if noms had been done properly.
It is interesting that the only time the producers gave aaron a break was when Jem left. For some reason they decided to go with whoever received a vote - if they had gone with the second most voted for it would have been harry v aaron and I am not sure aaron would have managed to survive that. I think the producers knew they wanted to keep aaron at that point and that is why they did what they did. By rights they should have scrapped the whole thing and done something different (or just not bothered) but they did at least give Aaron a break that week. |

In this round of my HL watching, Faaron have just been saved against the Puppypack and he is part of a conversation with Tom and Anton about Aaron where they are saying he wont win etc and that him surviving top again might have made him too big for his boots wtte.
I dont know how loyal Harry is as a friend really as neither that nor his post eviction stuff sits with me particularly well, however as a HM I really enjoyed watching him so again, he gets the benefit of the doubt. Plus I loved Bananagate and him dressed as a fox, both of which I thought were hilarious ![]() I still think you don't sell out a friend so I am still completely baffled by what he did

![]() maybe his six way factored in. ![]() ![]() ![]() Don't try and make me think about what factored into those numbers! I don't want any detailed thoughts about these actions, my poor brain couldn't take it

I'm completely with you on the Harry thing, except Aaron leaving in a Harry head to head. At that point the numbers just weren't there, I think it would've been close but Aaron was polling 51.7% that week and his negatives were down at 18.1%. Add to that people tend to vote with greater frequency for than against I think Aaron would have survived.

I think they knew there would have been an uproar from Aaron fans if they just went with a Harry/Aaron eviction. I think they should have scrapped the vote completely that week as Jem had left but they obviously wanted their revenue from the voting!! |

That riled me as they should have scrapped the eviction instead of another HM leaving when they wouldn't have been up that week - and I would say that had any of them left. That was a very unfair eviction imo, but by that point the producers didn't seem to care how or if they annoyed us.

possible - but I think it would have been closer than I would have liked cos people liked Harry and would be more likely to vote for harry to try and get aaron out. I will bow to your greater polling authority though - as our head pollster!

After the trousergate incident when she overreacted big time things settled down and they were all loved up for the last three days. I for one voted to keep her in but I guess some Aaron fans were bitter about Jem and Ma Palmer's interference in their relationship and thought it was best if Faye and Aaron were separated.

Oh, I agree it would've been closer than the numbers suggest but I just don't think Aaron would have gone. Things you need to factor in are Aaron's support was not only big it was enthusiastic, especially that week after his treatment during F&F nominations. Harry's wasn't, Harry's support turned out to be extremely weak. He's been propped up by Aaron's support in the previous week and the public's anger at the twist, neither would have been there in a simple head to head with Aaron. The anti Aaron sentiment was yet to pick up it's full head of steam and finally people tend to vote with greater frequency for than they do against.
I might be wrong but we'll never know now ![]() |
