you can tell by just listening to him in his VT that its lies - it doesn't flow as he usually does in normal conversations. Its like he has to get it all out there before he forgets what he has planned to say. plus his eyes are all over the place and as you say jittery.

yeah i tend to agree, how many times were we all on the edge of our seats waiting for the next tweet to see what he was gonig to do next? the halloween noms were a case in point, although u knew he was going to do something you didnt know WHAT he was going to do lol I remember looking at twitter thinking please dont let this tweet be about Aaron as u knew it was probably going to be controversial, or something unexpected;

I think what Tom said in the winners story was very true, he could not speak to people for weeks and still people would be drawn back to him, and the same with us viewers there may have been something he did that we totally disagreed with yet we would still be drawn back in and totally forgave him!!

All views are welcome here IMO - I love Aaron and Faye as a couple and I am a big Aaron fan. I don't see a problem posting just about Aaron or about both of them in this thread or about Aaron and Mark, Aaron and Harry etc.

I thought the Gabby appearance went well really, some of the questions were a bit predictable (game playing etc) but they were always going to be asked, at least this time there was more to the interview. Gabby obviously hadn't really watched the show but then, with its low viewing viewers, neither had most people.

For what it's worth, I think they are both moving in together on 1 December. It's one thing to tweet your followers about it, which they both seem happy to do, it's another thing though to be unexpectedly asked about it on live national telly, I think they were a bit embarassed by that.

Going off that track for a bit but I do increasingly think Aaron is more of a lad than he made out in the house. In there he came across to me as say 70% quirky/camp and 30% more typically male, I reckon in reality the split is probably more the other way if you see what I mean. For example, the several nights out last week with the boys until the early hours, coupled with his football club involvement, suggests to me that he has a much more laddish side than what BB viewers would perhaps imagine. If he really was mortified by swearing and sex talk he wouldn't be able to cope in those two environments, much less enjoy them to the degree he obviously does. This isn't a criticism of him, just an observation.

Tashie has obviously warmed to Aaron as she didn't like him in the house (mind you they were only together 1 week). Aaron wasn't keen on her in the house - maybe he's OK with her now I don't think they'll ever be bosom buddies though!!

Never thought of that, but having read your post, I think there is definitely something in it. At the moment I am changing my mind about certain aspects of Aaron's character/behaviour/whatever several times a day - I suppose it illustrates what an interesting person he is when he still has me pondering 11 days after the show finished!

I found him extremely difficult to read at times in the house. His "ladies man" comment had me wondering who is the real Aaron? Whilst I doubt he is a womaniser, I suspect he has a certain amount of charm and charisma that draws people (women) to him. His vulnerability makes him imo more attractive. I would expect he had a certain success with the opposite sex, not least because he knows how to treat a lady.

i think you might be assuming that to be one of the "lads" means you have to be comfortable in a sex talk/swearing environment. Mr C has many of the traits of aaron in that he is completely geeky (Big Bang Theory has nothing on him at times ) but at the same time is quite happy as one of the lads - particularly in a sporting environment. His mates which are mostly "lads" and mostly "sporty" aren't at all "sweary" and never talk about sex and what they have gotten up to with their wives and GFs and never have been even when younger. They get together on a night out (which has included night clubs in the past although Mr C is a bit old for that now) and invariably thrash out their perfect England 11 or argue the merits of Bond v Bourne. I think there are different types of "lads" and although there are the "sex talk" type lads such as Jay and Anton, I think equally lads can be lads without any of that happening. I think Aaron is the latter type of lad tbh.

And as i have said before I always saw Aaorn as the alpha male of the house - and that is why he and jay clashed so often.

I think he hides his camp side from his footie mates - he did say in his speech to the housemates that people on the outside would be surprised to see how he really is in the house implying he is more himself in the house than outside and I think you can't put on an act for 9 weeks. Aaron in the first few weeks in the house (especially when Mark was around) was more laddish but gradually he became less and less so as the weeks went by. Re the swearing I think he does swear more on the outside but maybe was aware of family watching and also thinking of his son perhaps wanted to set a good example.
