Ive just seen a tweet that Il Divo are the music act tomorrow night for the Wembley show. They are fab!

Well done the BBC for getting them (specially as they usually end up on the ZFactor).

Tweet must be accurate as it was made by Carlos.

And evidently James Morrison and Jessie J also confirmed....

wails

Why can't they have Eddie Vedder? With his mandolin. Oh, yeah, because he wouldn't be seen dead... Or in another vein, Rokia Traoré. She'd be interesting and I'd love to see the pro dance. But no, it's west-divo-perri-andrei-young week after week, unless it's blummin' Sir Brucie himself. S'very very bad.

I take it back. Caro Emerald was perfect

Presumably you watch for the dancing rather than the music then? Afetr all it is supposed to be a dance programme not judged on the variety of singers they get on. Music is a very personal thing and I would venture to say that your obvious preference of music is not mainstream, Saturday night stuff where as the (mocked) Westlife/Young/Divo is. The singers are secondary to what is going on dance-wise I would have thought.

I am probably completely over thinking this.....The pros are doing a group dance to a medley of Queen music....wondering if Brian May will play....I could put up with Anita being overmarked for that.

I wish they'd leave the music to the band and singers and let them occasionally play and sing what they think dancers might like rather than always what the BBC think we should like or, what X-Factor fans would like, or whatever.
There's no need for all these guest singers and musicians in a dance competition.

If they need "filler" let's have more pro dances.

I think the show is going to be phenomenal! I'm totally looking forward to the photos too! Loving Holly's song - think it will easily be the best of the night! And she'll be dancing with Artem.

yeah Il Divo are on ... as David tweeted a pic from rehearsals on set

he said it was for tomorrow's show but I'm presuming it'll be on Sunday's results show (but as we know they obviously record the results show after the main show tomorrow)

It's an entertainment show above being a dance competition so obviously they are going to try and include guests that they feel will entertain those who aren't specifically watching just for the dance aspect and by having musical guest on they also attract additional viewers who are interested in dance and music

For me it's the best of both worlds and I like to see the pros sometimes dance to the guest artists

It would be great to have more pro dances but perhaps logistically it's not that practical with some of the pros being tied up with their celeb rehearsals and various other bits and pieces .

personally I think they've got a good balance and I like the variety of the resutls show where it's dancing and musical guests

il Divo are classical music aren't they so if they sing and there is a Pro Ballroom number at the same time then that might be quite nice!

I don't mind Jessie J or James. Those two acts I suppose will bring in maybe some of the Xfactor audience too (if only momentarily, if Jessie J and Morrison tweet that they'll be performing).

I would have gone for a string quartet, myself, or maybe a recorder band.

I quite like Il Divo but I thought they were rather odd on the results show. What's with the fruity voice of one of them?

Joe McElderry sings it much better - in my opinion!
