What's people's opinions on the phone now after a couple of weeks/months?

I'm seriously thinking about trading in my Galaxy Note for one, even though I love the huge screen and S Pen, I want stock ICS more and I can't be arsed rooting my Note etc.

What would be the best way to go about it do you think? Sell my Note on eBay and buy a new Nexus??

Still loving mine. It was plagued by the charging issue a few weeks ago, and sent it off to be repaired under warranty - falling back to my Xperia Arc as my main phone whilst it was away felt like a real step backwards. I guess I hadn't really noticed how much I liked the Nexus until I didn't have it anymore! It will be interesting to see what other manufacturers do with their new ICS phones, but for now, I think the Nexus is the best Android phone out there.

Mine suffered fom random reboots, sometimes when being used so I returned it to Expansys for a refund. Apart from that I loved the phone (camera excepted) and vanilla ice cream sandwich.

Another vote from me. It's currently the best phone on the planet, til the next big thing comes along.

Just out of interest, what made you get a refund rather than replacement?

Still yet to custom ROM mine. What benefits have you found from having a custom ROM and kernel?

I read so many counts of people with reboot problems I thought I'd wait for an update. (I bought at £400 so wouldn't repurchase above that price anyway).

Toting a windows phone handset at the moment which is pretty good for different reasons...

Had mine since it came out and still loving it. It had it's first reboot yesterday only due to some corrupted text under icons, apart from that it has been continuously on since I bought it. I am only a moderate user and get 2 days out of the battery on average.

Still have not seen a better screen on any portable device, don't forget this is 1280 x 720 squeezed into 4.6 inches, and looked better than a friends new iPad(I am still tempted though). The iPad had a definite yellow hue to the whites and saturation was not as rich as the Nexus. Lower dpi on the iPad too but not really noticeable.

I think the Nexus will remain a niche product, which is partly why I bought it, as I like something a bit different. My last phone was a HTC HD2, and the Nexus beats it in pretty much every respect apart from the fact that the HD2 was more customisable.

Well the custom ROMs provide some extra features (like removal of the Google search box and a return to the google search button as just one example).

The kernels provide speed increases, screen calibration, fast USB charge, battery improvments (SIGNIFICANT ones !).

Plus the flashing ROMs/Kernels keeps me entertained

if you have never gone down the customisation route then the first attempt can be a little scary but after that its easy ... just remember to always backup first !

The Nexus is a great phone for flashing as it has the option for fully unlocking the bootloader (its aimed as a developer phone anyway).
