This is just stupid tabloid stuff, I agree that she has signed a new contract, but why would a reasonably unknown actress leave a show that has made her publicly recognised, me thinks we will see a lot more of Ms.Ford for years to come!

I read somewhere that she doesn't want to stay in Corrie indefinitely. As an actress she wants to play different roles, not the same one. So it is possible that she will leave in the not too distant future.

If I had such a well paid job, I'd hold on to my 10 minutes of fame for as long as I could.

Many actors move on to find obscurity.

Why ?

resigns means sign again

You have read it now so you won't need to look again.

I'm sure many Ms Ford fans were pleased with the news of her resigning for another year.

Why not have her end up with Steve, have more children and be fulfilled with the stable family life she never had growing up.

Don't suppose this will happen tho' as it would be a challenge for the actress and the writers.

I'm sure you mean it would be a challenge for the EastEnders writers

She went to the same drama school as my friend, and was apparently asked to go back a year because she was so bad no-one wanted to be in her group, but she has become the most well known of them. Jill Halfpenny was asked to leave the same school because they told her she'd never get any roles in productions not set in Newcastle unless she lost her accent.

Ah well my friend, that suggests she's resigned from the job. It doesn't make sense. As alan45 pointed out, 'SHE HAS RE-SIGNED FOR ANOTHER YEAR' would make more sense.

What has your friend starred in?
What is her/his name?
Is he/she famous too?

Tell you friend the school is no good, it is not him or her.

They have failed at least twice to recognise potential.

Enough said.

Have a great day
