Anyone else notice Janet stating in her VT that she's not a fairy princess? Perhaps subliminally trying to draw a line in the sand between her and Amelia? " Vote for Amelia if you want a princess; vote for me if you want one of your own."

Yes, definitely.

I'm not sure in these troubled times that will wok though. Janet's general attitude on the show may mirror the economic woes of the country, but what the people want is someone to aspire to and make them feel warm on a cold day.

An important night tonight for Princess Amelia's humanitarian singing career, the first real test of public support. I'm sure the people will continue to support her work though, I'm just putting up some bunting.

Also, the bottom 2 is the realm of commoners. Not our Amelia.
