1. Great show & good atmosphere

2. Thought Holly & Artem used too much of the floor to the point she was walking not dancing

3. The audience loved Harry the most, could that be a sign of a potential winner, the cheer he commanded was second to none

4. Russell's jive was hardly that and I would imagine its the first time he's held a woman's legs apart

5. Anita and Robbie bottom two

1. Chelsee n Pash are so cute!
2. I actually laughed out loud when Jason was just standing there not doing the steps (I know, I know. I'm a horrible person etc.)
3. The music choices were all s***e
4. Russell still doesn't entertain me.
5. Don't bother filming in Wembley again thanks...

1/ Bored silly by Russel now , I just watched Flavia and hoped he would be shot off the stage .

2/ No one looked great to be honest

3/ Hollys dance suffered from all the dithering about

4 / Why was Jason last again ? Did they think he was going to get a rousing four 10;s ??

5/ Time Russel went but I think Anita migth
who, me?

1. It was a fight between the vast, cavernous venue and a production used to filming in an intimate studio - the venue won.
2. Holly's dress was a disastah, dahling - in wide shot she looked naked from the waist up.
3. Loving Brendan and James's antics in the background.
4. Shooting Russell out of a cannon was an act of desperation - Flavia shoulda Ca-Catched him.
5. Holly may be in the bottom two this week. So may Russell.

1 Artem and Brendan dancing was highlight for me tonight

2 Wembley may have been a good atmosphere to be there, but not good for tv audience

3 Robbie and Ola may be in bottom 2, not their best performance

4 Holly definitely looked more comfortable dancing with Brendan

5 Nooo, Aliona why did you use Jill's jive song for a salsa?

1. Chelsee and Harry did well technically but the songs let them down.
2. Was there any salsa with Robbie and Ola?
3. I loved the VT for Holly and Artem/Brendan
4. All performances should've stuck to the stage.
5. Jason and Kristina's Jive bored me.

I would join in this thread but I can't count up to five ever since a nasty accident I had with my hand and something from the Home Shopping Channel.

1. Wembley was too big - the best dances didn't use the massive space
2. Jason would have been top if he hadn't got that section wrong
3. Aliona - let Harry dance FFS! Once he started moving, the routine got a whole lot better
4. Alex is getting better every week
5. Whoever designed Holly's dress should never be allowed to dress anyone ever again

6. Ola in a catsuit

1. Terrible music for everyone
2. The noise has given me a headache (and I turned the soud down at the beginning of the programme)
3. Venue was too big for the programme so none of the couples did themselves justice.
4. Chelsee was the best of a bad lot.
5 Alex was surprisingly good.

+ Harry was his usual terribly nice English public schoolboy with about as much sex appeal as a plate of cold rice pudding!

.....It was a mistake to move the show to a big shed behind the back of an industrial estate in North London.

The venue was too big for the show - as more than adequately demonstrated by several on the dances. Only James and Alex even tried to do a "proper" dance and that was lost in the vast airspace. The others put on a Showdance such as is normally put on on finals night. This detracted from the quality of their dances. There was some clever stuff on display, but more akin to a Broadway show or acrobatic display than a dance competition.

Those who criticise the sound are clearly not familiar with the problems associated with producing broadcast quality sound from such a live arena. No doubt it is different if you are there, but trying to broadcast the same event is very difficult.

Blackpool would always be better for a "flyaway" show, it is more relevant in both size tradition and atmosphere. It also benefits from having a proper dance floor rather than a specially built stage.

1. Had too much to drink before it even started.
2. Got to watch the first 30 mins or so with my mum.
3. Holly conviently came on as it was time for me to whip back home.
4. Sound a bit echoey but an amazing feat for the team.
5. Too 'merry' to focus on X Factor...

1. Wembley was a nice idea but failed - please don't repeat it Beeb! Blackpool for the final should be sufficient incentive.

2. Robbie - totally fed up of him telling us how many weeks he has danced, how many thousands / millions he is dancing infront of, and if I were Ola I would not unbutton his shirt - compared to Artem, Robin, Harry...he is not a good chest! And I have to hide behind my hands whenever he goes for a lift

3. Anita - I love her sheer passion, and she has a wonderful partner who is sooooo sexy....I really hope she stays in to fly the flag for the older woman! She looked beautiful tonight too

4. Chelsee - I love her, she is wonderful!! I really hope she lifts the glitterball this year! Her relationship with Pasha is so sweet, you can't help but smile at the TV!!

5. As much as I admire his huge fanbase and Flavia is wonderful, simply wonderful, I would be glad to see him go very soon.

Robbie v Russell tonight methinks!

On ITT in the week viewers were invited to guess which lady would be wearing a certain dress, (white with huge sequins).

Unless I was very much mistaken NONE of them wore it! I wonder what happened, did they all refuse to wear it?

1. Whoever decided to go to Wembley needs to see Sir Alan Sugar so he can say ....you're fired !!!

2. What was the point of that monstrosity in the middle of the stage.( No not Bruce or Tess), totally ruined the continuity of the dances.

3. Worst music choices ever on SCD

4. Russell needs to be fired out of a real cannon, as far away as possible, the joke has worn VERY thin.

5. DO NOT GO NEAR WEMBLEY AGAIN.

1. Holly, this is how to do a Quickstep to Valerie:

2. Once again the lovely Chelsee and Pasha were my favourites. Their samba was full of content, even though it felt a big lost in the cavernous arena.

3. Enjoyed Alex's tango; pleased for them that they get to experience being top of the leaderboard. Was a four 8s dance, though.

4. Jason's jive wasn't particularly great before he went blank. And I'm still standing for a salsa? Even Len didn't know what dance he'd just watched.

5. Time to go now, Russell. Though secretly hoping for a Holly shock bottom 2 placing....

I agree with all you say budgiemum. I am having to have a large gin and tonic to try to cure my headache, caused by the dreadful sound and dizzying camera work. A dire disappointment. It was truly awful and let's hope it never happens again. All the dancers were below par to various degrees, but Chelsee was the best IMO. Where is that lovely dress designer lady from previous years ?? Come back, all is forgiven.

1. Forget Wembley. It had zero atmosphere at home.
2. TESS had no neck in that dress.
3. Got confused with what dance Holly was actually dancing! Think she might be in trouble later.
4. Poor Jason, it was going so well.......
5. Really like Chelsee and she had the best dress of the night.

1) The larger arena spoiled what could have been some not bad dancing because everyone felt the need to bound around like Andre the Giant.

2) My ears are still damaged from the echo (echo echo) from the microphones.

3) Getting really sick of the constant perving on Harry. Change his gender and it would be perceived as bad taste, bordering on sexual harassment.

4) By no stretch of the imagination does Alex deserve higher marks than Chelsea. Not even in the same vicinity dance-wise.

5) Tess actually wore a nice dress. Huh.

1. Artem and Brendan are the best partnership of the series.

2. The venue won; the dancers came a brave second.

3. We get half-way through the show, week eight, before judges start on about gapping and illegal lifts.

4. It's now 9.45 pm and I'm still waiting for the salsa from Robbie.

5. A tango to a song advising us on how to have an orgasm.

1. Tight animal print pants and Anton are not a good mix!

2. I was underwhelmed by the venue - I think a smaller, more intimate setting works better for Strictly

3. Some of the contestants seemed overwhelmed by the venue and maybe it was reflected in their dances?

4. Still have no clear idea what Robbie danced.

5. I enjoyed Russell's enthusiasm and exuberance at first, but now he has become a parody of himself. Time to go soon?
