What happened in her life is hardly a hardship, I have been through and seen others go through much worse and never have I, or anyone I've seen, turned to bullying because of it. She grew up loved and cared for, she never knew her mother so how could she have missed her - her aunt was her mother.

But besides that, I really doubt her mum got in contact with her this week. If it happened at all, it probably happened at the start of the show when she saw her daughter on tv. They are using this as a sob story because they are desperate to keep her in the competition.

Oh, how many years did she bully people then? You seem to be in the know about what really happened.

What I love about this is the hypocrisy shown by haters of Misha.

They are more than happy to believe the allegations Louis & Tulisa made, even though they subsequently back tracked on them.

Yet the refuse to show sympathy for the sob story VT shown last night.

All I'll say is it proves Rio Ferdinand's Twitter comments were right.

Now Misha's mum has come out of the blue with all this stories and the camera has caught Misha's reactions (which is what would have been expected anyway).. You all come out lambasting the poor girl for that. This is all part of the bullying that takes place online and it must stop. This people all live their lives in public now and anything personal to them tends to become public anyway.

Misha reacted in an emotional way as it has been a tough week for her. She has been called a bully. ( How much can one person take) Yet her tears is being interpreted as crocodile tears. It would be nice sometimes for people to be less cynical.

How do you think she would feel if she came here and read some of the horrible comments you guys make. When someone gets emotional like that, it is better to take a step back and offer a little sympathy or support. (This comes in various ways by the way)

Just saying.”

I agree.

Misha is being bullied on this forum, it disgusting.

Misha has not seen her mum since her mum gave her up, when she was a baby, and now her mum has just appeared out of nowhere, chatting to the media. That woman has no shame.

Poor Misha, how ppl can say such nasty things is shocking, maybe they don't care because they had a mum & dad. Misha never had her parents. Misha is only 19 yrs old, it must be very hard for her.

The same comments were levelled at Janet too TBH.

I have no doubt her tears on VT were probably real - though provoked by the producers (no way she would get the new while being filmed). It was done as a means to an end - same of Janets was.

HOWEVER, the tears on stage were crocodile ones for sure.

Misha is what so many have been called ovver the years-raw talent. I have really enjoyed listening to the beauty and interesting aspects of her voice emerge, and her voice reflects a lot of what she seems to be and be going through in a good way. That is a gift for a singer.

She did not "use" her story to try for votes. The show "used" her story to increase the soap opera aspect /drama of the show in general.

Regardless of who you are or how you feel about it,parents are a huuuge part of everyone's life, even if their abscence is that huge part they play. Even if they told her to discuss the story with Kelly, her reactions were doubtless genuine, and difficult to talk about. I believe Kelly's were, too.

Imagine your biggest turmoil causing issue concerning parents. We all have one.(Mine is that I lost them at a younger age,and if asked about it on camera,I admit,I'd probably have a hard time holding it together, and I'm more than 10 years older than Misha). ...Now imagine a story hitting the press about that just as you are trying to impress a lot of people in your chosen career field....and suddenly, you are asked about it on camera/at a big meeting/pick a public scenereo.

Yeah,I felt for her. Usually "sob stories" don't affect me,but this seemed genuinely like the show exploiting a 19 year old young woman's personal life...or,in a better light, addressing the issue ...either way,it must have been hard for Misha, knowing the negative reaction would be as strong as the positive one and probably feeling too much inner conflict to really even think it over.

Regardless,she sang beautifully last night.

How on earth can she tell them not to mention it! it has been in many newspapers!

The viewers would want to see her reaction, if she didn't give a reaction, y'all would be saying she is cold hearted.

Ok look, I'm a cynic. That story and tears with Kelly time just seemed OTT. Especially after she landed in the bottom two again last week. Personally if I was Misha and I read that story in the papers, I wouldn't want the cameras in my face recording. That should have been kept private. I'm sure it wasn't pleasant reading for her but someone like Kelly blubbering over me would turn me right off. She could maybe have addressed it in a more suitable manner. That being said, maybe she didn't have a chance. It could have been organised by Kelly wanting to show Misha's vulnerability - but it just came across as too much.

Exacly. Sadly the blind hatred some people have towards the girl makes them unable to grasp this. I just hope Misha remains strong and makes something good of her life.

Even if she does not win X Factor, I am sure she has a bright future. Someone like Amber Riley was rejected by American Idol and yet she is a Big star in her own right now.

The only age mentioned is that she was bullying people when she was fifteen. It gives the impression that she was a bully when she was very young with the words 'playground bully' but I don't know when she started or when she finished, only that she was doing it when she was fifteen.

I never said I knew how long she'd bullied for. I said that I didn't believe she could have changed in such a short amount of time. And I don't - if you're a bully you don't change in four years, not at that age. I mean, it may be possible, but I've never seen it, anyone who has will surely be of a different opinion.

Misha just seems like she's got this nice-girl act covering her when she's on screen, with a fake sweet voice that only developed after she admitted to being a bully and speaking barely at all when she used to talk lots - it screams fake to me.

but can't you see how manipulative it was? using this story with her mum getting kelly to talk to her and the camera crew in the room capturing it all. she allowed this sob story to be filmed and kelly is no better to agree to, to try and get votes.

it was set up, the emotions may be real but the producers with no doubt simons input set the scene for the story and tears, really low of them to do that! they think the public are fools and many will fall for it.
