Don't get me wrong, they're a fantastic group and it's a fantastic song, but songs from 1996 don't just randomly shoot up on charts for no apparent reason.

'En Vogue' and 'Lil Mix' are trending on twitter!

Is 2011 the year the girlband won? I bloody hope so.

Basically means that a lot of people are including "En Vogue" and "Lil Mix" in their tweets.

A trend is a word or phrase that's being mentioned in loads of tweets.

Basically, people can't stop talking about Little Mix

When I found out the song lineup, I looked at Little Mix' and thought "Wait I can't remember that", but when Tulisa said it was from Set It Off, it all came back. Love the song and film so much.

I have listened to Little Mix's performance back twice already and the actual song once. I can see why it's shooting up the charts

I think that this song for Little Mix will be the defining moment that have got Little Mixed more noticed by the non commited voter and this could be the moment it actually wins it for them!

I have loved these girls from boot camp and I am so pleased for them because they are putting so much work in and not moaning at all! Good for the girls!

I'm the opposite - I remember buying the single and playing it to death but have never heard of Set It Off!

Quite glad as it's a very good song. Certainly shows up the general tripe we have to cope with in the charts these days.

It's certainly made me dig out my 'Best of En Vogue' album out! It's so strange as I very nearly posted in a thread about potential song choices about Don't Let Go. I thought an En Vogue song would suit them so well but when I did a search, I couldn't find any besides this one that had been in any films. I decided against suggesting it as I'd never heard of the film! So glad they did this though.

I also think they would have done 'Giving Him Something He Can Feel' really well.

It was very good. I'd still love to hear them sing Stay by Eternal

Thanks for all these posts - having a blast on YouTube! I had forgotten about so many great 90's bands: TLC, Mis-Teeq, En Vogue, Eternal... any more?

Little Mix could do well with a TLC song or they could go terribly wrong because TLC were fantastic. Now that I think about it I'm surprised that Tulisa hasn't pulled out a TLC song, in the words of Biffa, I thought that would be right up her street.

But good for En Vogue and good news for Tulisa's little muffins.
