After the 50 minute long intro sob story for Misha where she is crying and crying because of all the hurt in the world and only she seems to be able to feel pain and nobody else does because she is Misha B who is just not worthy to be in the bottom 2 because she has the best sob stories and we are told she is a good singer (although nobody else sees it)... what can we expect next week?

All of the above will be at least 50 minutes long and will be filmed out of the country as Misha B walks across deserts and cliff faces and woodland with a platoon of soldiers with and she seen holding wounded people, babies or animals looking to the sky saying "Why? Why??? Take me!!! Vote for Misha B."

They will all wear Black thorny roses instead of Poppies from now on.

I am sure there will be the tearful reunion with Druggie Mommie too. With lots of hugs, lots of tears and lots of vote for Misha. Mommie will, no doubt, tell Misha how proud of her she is and what an emotional journey she has been on. The producers will have the peeled onions ready off camera for the obligatory tears scene.

I think people are taking the sob story stuff too seriously. We've seen plenty of this on the X Factor before - remember Nicki whose dad died or something? Often people are cynically used for their sob story effect at the early stages only to vanish without trace before bootcamp. It exists to serve the X Factor machine and provide a bit of emotion for the viewers but I don't think it actually helps the contestant that much in the long run.

Nikki was given a fast track bus ride home after that.

It doesn't work when it is too obvious.

I remember in disco week in series 4, for no apparent reason Beverley started talking about how her mother abandoned her . She then started crying about how she wanted to ask her why, but that she was dead now and how she wanted to go dig up her grave and ask her. All really weird and irrelevant and it landed her in the bottom 2.

Most people have got wise to these blatent PR stunts. This is a new low even by XFACTOR standards they usually pull these sort of stunts during the auditions and not this far into the live shows. Smacks of deperation. They even gave her a great Whitney song but that backfired as well because she was not up to delivering it.

Wow. Talk about milking your situation for votes. Glad it never worked. You don't deserve a recording contract because your mum abandoned you. That goes for Misha B too.

My feeling is that they decided that Misha was a goner so milked her sob story dry. Whatever next week - maybe Amelia and her diabetes? Think they need to do something to keep the viewers' attention after the excitement of last week

I had to turn over for 5 mins until that was all over, if it was aimed at drumming up sympathy for Misha so she wouldn't be in the bottom two again it was a cheap shot, I thought the whole thing was distasteful anyway. If Misha's mum wants to come back into her life, fine, but why play it all out on TV, that kind of thing should be done in private.

Yes and I wish they would stop doing it ...it puts me right off the contestant rather than endearing me to them...I am watching this show for entertainment not for their personal problems which in my opinion should be kept private.
