Len at it again!
Keiō Line
20-11-2011
Did you hear him last night to Russell?

"No matter how long this show goes on for, all people will remember is you being shot out of a f**king cannon".

Absolutely no need for that language like that, no matter what the time of broadcast. Usually when people swear, the presenters fall of themselves to apologize, but there was NOTHING! It is pretty clear that a LOT of people are afraid of Len, but I'm not, and so are the Great British Public. If the BBC refuse to do anything about his recent behaviour then they WILL have a FIGHT on their hands.

Len said bl**dy cannon. Since they apologised on ITT when Vincent called him bl**dy Len, I was expecting someone to apologise for Len's use of the word.

I suggest you get your hearing tested.

Well whatever the exact words that was said, and Evie and I both think he said the "F word", the meaning was all too clear.

In fact who the hell does Len think he is to say what bits we will and will not remember?

If it all the same with Len, I will choose to remember
Jill and Darrens perfect jive, Karen and Marks triumphantly restarting the Salsa, and indeed the Michale Jackson tribute by the professional dancers (not a dry eye in the house}

Is that okay with you "Len"?

Memory is such an unreliable witness, the KGB always had the better cars, but they didn't always take you where you want to go, did they?

Should he have said "Everyone except Keiō Line?"

The sound quality was poor but I think he actually said was""No matter how long this show goes on for, all people will remember is you being shot out of a flipping cannon".

He said flipping cannon and he was smiling.

I'm pretty sure it was 'bl**dy' cannon because I thought there may be another furore as soon as he said it.

Thanks, fog - I checked it on i-player (sad person that I am) and Len said: 'People will always say, "Do you remember when Russell flew out of that bloody cannon?"'

Bad language? Well, I suppose so, but pretty mild these days. The other week, when Len called Craig "a silly little sod" was more offensive, not because of the words used, but because of the venom in his voice.

His remarks to Russell about 'that bloody cannon' were good-humoured and said with a smile, so what's offensive?

Sadly Len could be right.
Russell was the "joke" inclusion in this series and yet he was in my opinion one of the more natural dancers out of the celebrities.
Len was complimenting Russell even though it didn't sound like much of a compliment.

bloody is hardly an offensive word, seems people are looking for any excuse to have a go at len including making up things he didnt say

...and you claim your £5!

Len's right, I don't think we will forget it anymore than we can forget the maniacal batman that was Chris in SCD1!
