Most of those songs will be flops and I was expecting at least some of them to be performed on X Factor.
Tonight Rebecca Ferguson deservedly has a performance tonight but so does Rihanna who has performed like every single she's ever released in the Auttumn since Russian Roulette

Last year she then performed Only Girl which was quite a good performance and then came back to duet with Matt Cardle and then sing What's My Name

Now again this year she's coming on (but she's asking fans which song she should sing, looks more like shes been asked to perform), clearly the producers love her but she doesn't need X Factor for a succesful song, We Found Love spent like 3 weeksish at #1 without any major performances over here. It's just getting a bit predictable and they should get someone new performing on. I'd rather see Britney perform again on the show as she barely gets UK TV appearences and I Wanna Go didn't reach Top 40 and neither will Criminal now, also it would be fun seeing Jedward perform again

They have Rihanna on because she is one of the biggest stars right now. I'd rather see her than dry old Britney. But you can bet they'd bump Rihanna out if Beyonce could perform.

LOL I know and she seems to be keeping all the X factor acts off the top spot too. You would think they wouldn't want her on the show with that record

It isnt just a case of who you want to be on, it is a case of who they can get and I bet they would have had Britney on if she had been available but she is in concert tonight.

As for the others:
Adele cant perform as she had throat surgery.
Olly Murs is performing next week.
Kelly Rowland is apparently doing some kind of medley at the final.
Jedward arent going to pull in viewers and are doing something today at Tallagh Arena.
Mary J Blige is performing at the American Music Awards tonight.
Enrique is also performing at the American Music Awards tonight.
Will Young is in concert tonight.

So none of them are available.

I know about the others but what about Britney? Lots of people were expecting after she filmed Criminal in London set release for November and was spending time in UK (her tours currently in UK I think) that she'd perform

I think she would have been asked and most likely said no. There is no way they wouldnt have her on if she was available.

That performance was awful, I agree. Let's be fair to her though, less than a year previously she had a full on mental breakdown and was completely forced into her Circus era performances due to her ongoing conservatorship. Her Femme Fatale Tour performances have been much better than that and appear to be live as opposed to that lipped one.

She performed We Found Love on US X Factor this week so she might do the same tonight. The slot is more of an album promotion slot and not a singles promotion.

She's not as bad as Robbie Williams, though.

He performed Bodies in 2009, Angels with Olly in 2009, You Know Me in 2009 and then he performed The Flood twice in 2010 and performed with One Direction on the 2010 final as well.

Good for her and being a HUGE Rihanna fan myself i get the joy for seeing her perform tonight, Personally I think she should perform either 'You Da One' or a mash up of 'You Da One' with 'We Found Love', as YDO is her newest single and WFL is MASSIVE over here in the UK. Plus she should perform on the X Factor, I think one if not her biggest fanbase is here in the UK..
