Is Tulisa to blame for Misha B landing in the bottom?

Misha has got this far in a competition and has a fanbase that she will continue to have, stop pretending she is not popular. The Risk went out and were also popular, it happens. Stop trying to pretend that all Misha is is a bully, all of us have done wrong in our younger days including you. Come down off your high horse. Your constant attempt to belittle her is tiresome and says more about you.

Yes, I think we all know Tulisa did do Misha some damage. How much is difficult to tell, however.

However, I think we all also know that Misha always was a marmite act, with a lot who do not like her voice and/or genre, and she was never likely to win. The winner is never someone who polarizes, it is always someone "safe".

Actually, I thought this week Misha sounded really good. But then again, my main issue with her is the fact that I dislike RnB and I *detest* rap, her often-chosen genres, and her voice can be too gratey for my taste, but when she sings a ballad like she did this week, she actually sounded very good.

That said, I do not believe that is really "her". This week's sob story angle was very offputting indeed. That's not Misha's fault tho, that is ITV/Syco with their usual attempts at audience manipulation, which they do every year.

If she has such a huge fanbase why is she constantly getting the least amount of votes?

I've never bullied people in school, I might have argued, maybe said some mean things, but I never bullied anyone.

What I do find tiresome is the producers trying to force us to like a contestant by using underhanded and contrived tactics.

Should we criticise the bully or someone who has reported the bully

I would have thought the number of people who stopped voting for her due to the comment would be minimal. On the other hand, the tactics employed by the production team enhance her chances have probably had a significant positive effect on the number of votes cast for her. For example if she is not bottom two this week it is probably due to the "sympathy vote" rather than any increase in her popularity.

"underhanded and contrived tactics"
Since the X-factor started the Producers have used underhand tactics to get the people they want in the final. Surely this is not the first time you have noticed it. It happened constantly last year with Katie and Cher. Better time slots, better songs, good VTs and more effort by mentors has ruled the show. If you are looking for a show that has always been above board, innocent and clean watch Songs of Praise

Lol, yeah I did notice it with Katie and Cher last year, but back then I didn't pay as much attention.

No. Misha has got far in this competition because the judges have saved her ass twice. If she has such a huge fanbase, the bottom 2 wouldn't really happen, never mind happening twice.

Nope Louis and Tulisa are not to blame. She is not as talented as the judges keep saying and a bit unlikable. I was surprised when she got through at judges houses.

I think Misha has been treated rather badly on the show and on the forum.
She has the most talent of any of the contestants and am sure she'll do well in her career whether she goes out tonight next week or whenever.
Janet, on the other hand, might win but will not appeal to that many in a years time when her album comes out and there are a whole new lot of contestants to obsess over.

She's far and away the most talented of all the acts. Tulisa's comments didn't help, of course they didn't, but Mischa is a marmite person and they rarely come out top in anything. Show like this end up being about personality and likeability and she's not someone that everyone will warm too. That *fierce* look she had in the first few shows wold certainly pt some people off, then with the allegations, then being in the bottom 2...well, all these things have an effect.

she has a HUGE ego, it really showed earlier on. she is used to getting praise for her singing all her life and its gone to her head. she knows she is good and better than the others thats why she made those snide comments to little mix. she feels she should win this cause she is the best.

that isn't a likeable quality, she isn't humble at all, its fake when they are trying to make her seem vulnerable.

the manipulative sob story by the producers to get viewers to feel sorry for her is pathetic and no doubt simon cowell is pulling strings behind the scenes, he wants her in the final so he can sign her to his label and start making money from her.

I agree about the sob story. Hate them

I felt the same way when they did it to Jesy two weeks ago

It was both Tulisa and Louis.

Tulisa has tried to redeem herself and saved Misha twice. Otherwise she may have been out already. So it might have worked in Misha's favour.

Being in the bottom does not make Misha less talented than the rest of the contestants - she has an immensed talent. If she does go tonight, which sadly I suspect she will, she'll more than likely still do ok and she has the XF tour to look forward to, so she is not losing out really.

Anyone else find it kinda convenient that Misha's mom decides she wants a relationship with her daughter now that Misha's on the XF tour and about to make money?

I really belive Misha could do without winning, she doesn't need it, it would be better to go and get a contract (apparently sh'es been offered one already)

She don't need Cowell no more

It was a bit unfair of Tulisa though. Just suddenly out-of-blue infront of millions of viewers, especially since Tulisa seemed to only know one side of the story and not any proper facts.
She should have had a quiet word with Misha backstage if it was really that serious, not put her on the spot and leave her with no way to respond.

If it was a genuine incident that is and not just something dreamed up by the producers to get the show in the papers again.

I think Tulisa is to blame. Before what she and her little pet louis said, people assumed that she was a little arrogant. Now fans think they know that she's a cow, and that's a really unfair judgement to make about a girl that's entered a singing competition. Tulisa knows what she's doing. Micsha's a threat and she wants her gone.

She's regularly in the bottom two though, so the others are more popular. Most of the voting public would rather the others stayed than Misha so its a joke if she continues to stay thanks to the judges.
