The producers won't want both Craig and Janet in the final

Simply as i have said before because the final is live from Wembley and they'll want acts who can own the stage that is one of the reasons I think they're trying to sacrifice Craig this week

You're probably right. I think that with Craig gone, Marcus will be unstoppable unless the producers seriously damage him. On a totally level playing field, Marcus would walk this competition I reckon. Only Craig, as hitherto (upto last night) favoured boy, who happened to minimise Marcus's regional vote quota, and some dubious song choices, have held him back.

I'm pretty sure they don't want either of them there (though you're right, both of them together would make for a horrific final).

Maybe that's the plan? They see Craig as dividing Marcus' vote? And decided that they need to get rid of Craig so that Marcus can storm the final and win?

I doubt the producers are passionate about Marcus winning. they have no reason to be.

If they are getting rid of Craig it's probably because they want 3 different categories in the final and it'll probably be easy for them to get rid of two girls in a row after this week due to them outnumbering the others.

Nothing to do with that, it's to do with the final being in at a big venue, and they'll want acts who can move around the stage and get the audience involved

Marcus, Amelia, Misha and Little Mix, any 3 of those 4 would please the producers

It is kinda odd though that there haven't been any negative stories about Marcus, kinda makes you wonder?

But yeah, I guess a Marcus win doesn't do much for the show. If anything it's a Little Mix win that would really help the show.

They weren't passionate about Matt winning last year and pulled a few strokes to try and scuttle him before realising there was no point.

By getting rid of Craig, they're handing it on a plate to Marcus.

Marcus would be a perfectly respectable winner so far as the show is concerned. Far too much emphasis around here is placed on the record contract factor. Whilst i think Marcus would be a perfectly marketable pop star, I alsio think that Syco are not too arsed with recording contracts, in spite of the 'recording artist search' guff. They make 90% of their money whilst the series is in play. They'd see Marcus as presentable and pliable and a good face or embassador for the brand. That'd be enough.

Really? As far as I remember Matt got great reviews every week once it got to the final 4/5 weeks. Craig isn't as popular as people are making him out to be, most people I've encountered who like them both are people who have Marcus as their first favourite and Craig as second so even if it comes down to both of them Marcus would still win.

I mean I agree, Marcus will win without a shadow of a doubt since it's mandatory for a vocally dull male to win these competitions every year , but just saying that's not the reason they'd want to get rid of Craig.
