Why Tulisa will continue to save Misha
Onestepawayfrom

I just wanted to point something out that has been bothering me about Tulisa's judging ability. Does anyone notice that she brings her own bias into her judging? A prime example of this was displayed when she chose to save Misha over Kitty last week simply because she has a similar musical background to Misha. So that means that if any of the other acts barring Little mix for obvious reasons face Miss B in the sing off, Tulisa will opt to vote them out because the likes of Janet and Craig are not R n B artists. This makes the whole concept of the sing off redundant when judges have already made their mind up before the mouths of the artists open in the sing off and quite frankly, it's shameful. Any opinions on this?

I noticed exactly the same thing and I agree. She may be a good mentor but she's a crap judge.

Agree. Thought the point of the sing off was that it was a clean slate - based purely on performance, regardless of genre and judges' personal preferences...

Nah, I think she'll continue to save her because sending her home would make her look bad after her week 3 comment. The "similar background" stuff is just a convenient excuse.

Good point. If Tulisa's gonna judge someone then she shouldn't show bias just because they're not RnB, that's just kinda ridiculous and if she does it again, she'll look pretty foolish.

But Misha killed Kitty in the sing off anyway...

That's true but it's always ignored

Tulisa will vote however she's told. If the producers tell her to save Misha, she'll save her; if not, she won't.

It did sound as though she was killing something.

Indeed. Tulisa may be a good mentor, but as a judge she is ridiculous. She is basically asking herself "Is this an RnB or Urban act?" and if the answer is yes for one and no for the other, she will vote out the one for which her answer is no.

Regardless of performance, talent, sing-off or any other factor.

This "musical roots" argument she has so far used twice already, and I expect her to use it again.

As a judge, therefore, she is a joke.

Her reason for saving Misha over Sophie/Kitty was absurd. But surely she will spurt out the same nonsense and save Misha against everyone. even if her opponent is far superior.

And i love Tulisa btw! But this annoyed me.

I'm not sure that is true. She likes Misha because Misha is terrific, it is not often we get someone like her on X-factor. I liked Kitty too but from a recording artist point of view, Misha is the more viable act.
Tulisa would not vote for Misha if she was up against Little Mix.

TBH I think everybody brings their own bias into judging, It's more of a popularity contest.

It's probably a guilt trip moment for her....but I want Misha in the Top 5 anyway!!
