This place has been an Amelia and Kitty love-in for weeks and anyone else (and I'm not even limiting it to people in this particular competition this particular year) just doesn't match up. It's pathetic.

Janet won't be leaving so the criticism will stick with her now all the way until she is in the final.

Remember that these people are miserable ***s in their everyday life as well. I wouldn't want to have to spend any RL time with them.

Everyone has different opinions, both like and dislike depend on who's writing so it's not a question of the whole site being against one particular person and it never has been.

You forgot to add that Misha is "hated" by those same people.

I'm actually happy that Janet has made it though along with Misha, as these 2 have received the most hate on this forum (apart from Frankie) and its quite frankly disgusting.

I'm surprised at the amount of negativity she's getting here : people stating she is "talentless" and the worst singer in the competition as if they are generally accepted facts, rather than opinions.

Seems like everything is working against Janet now.
She's tested almost every week. Since she performed last in the first live show, the latest she has performed is 6th, the other times she's performed 2nd three times and 4th twice. Such crappy places.
And now they've taken to calling her last just before the bottom two, just to further dent her confidence.

No matter though, zombie Janet is still alive, and doesn't even have the mark of a bottom two appearance on her.

I think there is often resentment when, rightly or wrongly, regional voting is believed to skew the results.

She could have done so much more with her song last night...a fit hunky man could have come in and they could have waltzed around the stage or danced seductively or something different than her just standing there singing! Wild have shown a different side of her personality!

I think the problem is that people who don't like Janet will say they don't like her. Her fans disagree and both resort to pettiness.

It's not that people hate her, it's just that constantly being told your opinion is wrong often makes people snap. Not that that makes it okay, but it's a two-way street.

Which is bad luck for Craig because they seem to prefer Marcus in Liverpool and Little Mix will be getting lots of votes from Newcastle, is that resented too?

Janet is disliked because she is female, the same reason Misha and Amelia are, all three are called arrogant, fully of themselves, divaish etc....

Despite what the judges may say, none of the contestants have shown much talent this year.

I do think Hate is such a strong word and unnecessary.

I am not keen on Janet,but understand why some people may like her.

We all have different tastes and we should respect the difference, and the music scene would be a dull place if we all liked the same things.

The only thing that annoys me with peoples support of a favourite artist is that they can be blinkered to when their fav puts in a poor performance.I can honestly say that i have picked 5 different artists as performance of the week, unfortunately Janet has not been one of them.

From her first audition, I thought I would love Janet. But her performances have really left me wanting. I actually found myself trying to like her in the first few weeks, because I wanted to like her. Her last two performances were better, I thought, but she just doesn't bring it like I thought she would.

She seems a nice girl, though and I don't get the personal attacks against her. She has her fans and she can sing, so good luck to her.

Having watched Big Brother and witnessed the absolute hatred for Aaron on these forums it would be nice to see Janet win just to prove that what is said on here is not what the general british public think (although I'd rather she got booted off and didn't win because she'll fare better - note previous winners with the exception of Leona). Not that they'll see it that way if she does win it. It'll be some massive conspiracy or fix if she does

Watching Xtra Factor now and I liked that VT of Janet they showed. She seemed like a fun, happy girl. [I am also an oddball, so this might be why.]

Then she started singing and I just don't like the voice. She really should try and inject more personality into the pre-performance VTs and after singing, if possible. I don't like her voice, but that doesn't make her a terrible person.

Same here. I think the X Factor machine is trying to change her too much. Would be better for her if she was booted out and doesn't win....she'll fare better, as will anyone else except for the winner. The personal attacks are extremely distasteful and completely unnecessary.

Its not hate, its called having an opinion, maybe different from yours OP. I don't rate Janet at all, find her boring and very samey each week. How she survived the bottom two I don't know

But I do respect others who do like her, and wouldnt question why they like her. I just state my views on here
