I've heard rumours about him being unpleasant before. How he prances around Manchester like the big I am and other things which it's probably best not to go into. But I was pretty shocked over what he said to Sinitta just them. Something a long the lines of "I'd have been well in there". He's such a nasty little git, I don't even like Sinitta but I felt that comment was bang out of order and probably made her feel even worse.

Agree with you, what really angers me is no one ever has a go at him over his snide comments or hissy fits over the cooking but the minute that Fatima opens her mouth or tries to organise the camp Cotton and his mob have a go at her.

Snitty is getting a lot of fans out of this..............................time to turn the spotlight onto Cotton.

All he said is he'd trade places with her, and he wouldn't have had a problem doing the trial. He has his bitchy moments, but this wasn't one of them.

Basically yes. He's got such a high opinion of himself as well, I wish there was a live feed so the public could see what he's really like once and for all.

I am totally shocked and surprised by him during this series. It's amazing how you see someone on tv and you think they're really like that.

Some people really should just not the public see the real them!

Agreed.

He is actually a really nasty horrible lil child

It is bad enough watching him "act" (term used loosely) on corrie but to act like a tosser....

I have heard he is worse and does prance around Manny like the "Big I am". He is obnoxious and is very rude even when some fans greet him or sommat.

This is true, and also he only responded to a direct question. He said he would do it for her.

He has had his none too pleasant moments, but this wasn't one of them I would say. More a case of whatever he said would be twisted & jumped on. If he had said he would have had difficulty too, he would just be jumped on as a wuss. Heyho.

i want him to go so bad, he acts like a spoilt arrogant ***** ,but when he knows the cameras are on him e.g. in the 'diary room or whatever' or his task he acts like he's so nice and funny. so fake!

Exactly. I think some are just eager to dislike certain people for the sake of disliking somebody.

Have to agree with this!

I seriously do not like Antony Cotton, but I can understand his frustration at having to sit through that ridiculous performance from someone who obviously thought she had signed up for a free camping holiday in the Australian bush! Pat Sharp looked pretty peed off too as did a lot of them! And it must have been all the worse for Antony knowing he could have done so much better if Sinitta the little martyr didn't hog the airtime with her ridiculous carry on! To quote her idol, Simon - "Pathetic"!

Yep, I understand fears and phobias, believe me, but she was scared of gunge used in children's gameshow's. Don't understand why people like Sinitta even go into the jungle.

You've seen him acting a part in a soap opera. Don't you realise that actors in soaps are acting?

I thought Sinitta was hellishly annoying and wasted a task - Anthony would have given it a good go, and he was just telling Sinitta that after she asked him (jokingly) if he could change places with her,

Why is it that a person is perceived as being 'nasty' when they are simply showing their feelings? Would you rather have a show full of Willies (who is a very arrogant, not so nice man) and Marks, who pretend everything is cool and fun when all the time their faces tell us they feel the exact opposite, probably.?

Some of us have been aware of this side of Cotton's personality for a long time. I'm glad the public at large are finally seeing him for what he is. A nasty piece of work.

Please don't wish him on Big Brother he's bad enough in the 'Bush Telegraph'.

he doesnt seem to have any redeeming qualities. Imo he's acting the big 'I am' and already thinks he's king of the jungle

He wasn't being nasty though, they asked him a question and he answered. I don't get all the hate for him. I think he disappointed quite a few people because he didn't squeal like a child when he did his own trial.

I agree. I don't think he's all that bad really.I do wonder if because he is quite camp people tend to associate that with bitchy. If he were gay and more 'manly' I think people would view his comments in a different way. There are worse people in there than him yet he seems to be getting the flack. I think he can also be quite sweet to people too.
I think people are judging him too harshly.

To be honest I wasn't referring to that because I didn't see or hear it. I'm talking about how I've viewed him since the show started. And yes I do know that on Corrie he is only acting but there are a lot of actors/actresses that turn out to be just like that when they go on reality shows. He certainly isn't one of them.

Yes I think Willie's 'normal' behaviour is being pushed under the radar - he is often very nasty when doing racing commentary/interviews etc. I have never warmed to him.
