Lol ah ok-look shouldn't the person who wins have some sort of warm personality that you like? Bit of a sparkle-star quality if I have to go that far?

Its not just about the voice

She's an outstanding singer, amazing style, hair and stage presence.
I think she's too good for the x factor though, it feels wrong she's there, she'd be better off in alternative music industries! she's my fave, the only reason i watch this show.

Amelia has that bit of a sparkle-star quality you are talking about when she performs, you are talking about the coldness she may give off when she is being interviewed right?

I agree she can come across sometimes as lacking a bit of humility, but that's just her being professional I think.

On stage though, she is very engaging, agreed?

I would expect "a big supporter" to have made at least one positive post about her especially when you have gone to so much trouble and effort to make numerous derogatory ones. I mean you have made 13 in this thread alone.

You usually find that posters will find anything to have a go at the person they judge to be the biggest threat to their favourite act.............

Just read an article on the local papers website. supposedly she was originally doing a kelly clarkson song but was changed to freedom midweek. dont know whether it would have made a difference to voting but think it surely wpuld have suited her more if its true

Never been a fan of Amelia's style of singing, and her attitude leaves much to be desired.

That bit is not indispute, its the I was a "big supporter" where you are being a (little economical) with the truth.

It obviously sounds a little better than to start a new thread by stating "I have never liked her and now I dislike her more...."

Why? I did like her at first-seems to be a trying to make an argument out of nothing ? I went of her -simple -bit like when you think a guy is great on a date -then see him again you realise he aint all that lol!

I agree with this. I do wonder why Kelly seems to give her songs that don't suit her.

I don't like her - but this has grown to something stronger ever since the styling. Shallow? Maybe. But when she first appeared, as is so often the case (Stacey Solomon anyone?) the job she had done on presenting herself was so much more appealing than what the, dry laugh, experts cobble together for her. Utterly repellent now and a little bit slutty. Whereas in her own get up she was quite cool. Still have never liked the shoutiness though.

You dont appear to be keen on Janet either.........

Perhaps you could try to type some positive posts about the ones you do like......you might feel better for it.

I have to say, Amelia's family are a bit of a liability. First it was her parents slagging off the show in the newspapers, now her brother is slagging off other contestants:-

http://twitter.com/#!/LewisBradley89

I can understand him wanting to big up his sister and get votes for her. But publically slagging off another contestant to do so is doing his sister a disservice. Not only does it taint her by association (even though it has nothing to do with her - I honestly can't imagine her ever sanctioning such a comment), it could also put people off voting for her!

Amelia's family really need to rein it in!

I get the same feeling OP.

It wasn't even the song choice [I didn't know of it, but I thought it was quite coolio anyway] - but she does need to do something more stripped back next week to prove that she isn't just a belter who can only do big numbers.

Granted she can't win the show anyway now, but if she wants to go out with a credible bang next week [or the next], then a big number and a ballad would do her alot of favours post-XF methinks.

I have posted lots of positive things about the various xfactor singers.

You are just trying to make me look bad for some reason only you know lol?

I liked her audition/kelly's house performances but I thought Billie Jean was dire, her comeback song was overrated and Think/Freedom wasn't great either. So I suppose I have gone off her, but it was quite a while ago.

She wasn't one of the worst two last week, but I thought she gave the second worst performance this Saturday and she deserved to be in the bottom two - the public got it right for once.

I don't like her singing, everyone goes on about her being a little Rock Star etc but I don't see it, she has neither the stage presence nor the charisma to be one. She would last all of 5 minutes in the Rock/Alternative scene if that.(People in that scene are rather fickle). She shouts her songs there is a difference between belting out a song and shouting and she shouts. I don't get all the hype surrounding her to be honest.

Well Amelia's brother aint doing her any favours since Janets got this big support going on out there....Liked her song on Sat, but won't be voting for her as all my votes is going onto miss B (while she's still in, that is)!!

Would love to hear her doing something different, maybe a simple song along the lines of Over the Rainbow, or something catchy or quirky, just not always singing a "big" song which can often be criticised as shouting.

I agree with the OP, I didn't think she should have gone in the first week and loved her audition however I too have gone off her a bit...and yes you can go off acts and still have been a true fan, I mean come on....Gary Glitter? for one?
That being said she was not the worst singer on saturday and I think Craig was let down by the song choice and ...didn't deserve to go, but it was the weakest performance.

oh, and er.......Little Mix to win!!!!!
