I feel the same. She sang excellently at judges' houses and she impressed with her comeback performance vocally but for some reason I cannot stand her and I don't know why! She has never said or done anything to offend me but she does nothing for me whatsoever.

Sophie and Craig were my favourites so I have no reason to watch now they are gone.

I got sick of her saying ' but Ive just got back' on last nights show - she also looked very stroppy when Tulisa voted for Craig. I think she is a bit of a diva who believes that she DESERVES to stay in......

Yes agree with most of the recent posters - Amelia is a good singer but she does tend to be a bit screechy, and she does sometimes come across as a bit petulant. I don't warm to her.
Sometimes I actually wish they'd brought Johnny R. back instead - at least he was a laugh - and he could sing.

I was never really fond of her BUT she is talented so I don't mind if she wins it. Her problem is she is in "sulky teenager" mode and it shows.

She's good vocally but has the unfortunate trait known as 'smacked arse face' far too much for my liking!

Love her but she is being styled wrongly and given the wrong songs.

I think people should cut Amelia some slack, she is a very young girl, who has been through the devastation of having her dream taken away, to be given another chance, out of the blue.

She doesn't have the same experience of dealing with the live shows and the interviews as the other contestants have. I think what people are interpreting as cold, and hard-faced, may just be her coping mechanism.

Besides, she's from the Boro - it's not exactly famous for being a friendly, smiling, warm-hearted kind of place!

ETA: I agree that her family should learn to belt up - that behaviour won't do Amelia any favours at all.

I thought so too. She came across as soooo sullen and bored. She actually made Misha and Janet look quite bubbly in comparison

There seems to be a lot of jealous woman here wishing they looked half as good or could sing half as well as Amelia. We get the same every year, voting out the woman, especailly the confident ones. Maybe it's a British thing where we only fight for the stupid blonde, the boy band or the sob story?

I seriously believe Amelia will do very well for herself, more so than Misha and Marcus. Just wait and see!

Sorry but I just get totally pissed off with all the pointless bitching that seems to go on. It's like a pack of hungry wolves out for blood... this is a singing competition, not a personality contest! If it's not Amelia it's Janet or Misha! Lets give them a break and actually judge them fairly.

I'm a heavy metal fan, and none of them are my cup of tea, but I can appreciate a good voice, someone with stage presence, and someone that writes their own songs or plays an instrument. There is so much more than simply standing on stage and singing!

Bryan Adams is a wise man, he knows the secret of success. You can be Simon Cowels bitch for a year or two before being thrown on the scrap heap, or learn to stand on your own two feet and write your own songs... Amelia might come over as a little cold and older than her years, but unforunately that's how you need to be in this business if you want to be successful!

I dont think anything I have said has been bitchy just my opinion and how I felt-that after originally liking her I find something missing from her personality?
As for singing-I sing myself and as a writer I write lyrics too-AND I play a musical instrument-but either way I havent put myself across as some sort of expert-we all like different things-that includes musical tastes!

I bet some of the stuff people are accusing Amelia of is probably similar to some of the stick Taylor Momsen get's, singer of the pretty reckless, she's about 18 but acts and sings like she's a lot older, she's still an amazing singer though
