Think it was more to do with the fact he didn't stand out from the others

This can be said for a lot of this years finalists.

Boring, dull predictable? - Classic Barlow really.

He was good but for me he never outdid his week one performance

Nothing wrong with him, but there have been too many young male winners of x factor who haven't managed to have much of a career afterwards. He was going down the same route if he won.

All the old grannies who prehaps voted for him ran out of money.
or when they got phone bill in was shocked at how much it cost them to keep him in until the final

He doesn't have much in looks, he can only sing ballads and Gary has been telling Janet, Sami and others that they were boring, samey and not versatile, then complained when they tried to change. And while he sang Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, he sounded like Rick Astley and even has the suit.

I was embarrassed for him every week. His gurning was just horrendous, and his 'emotional' facial expressions were clearly fake. Glad he's gone.

I've been Joe's fan since I heard his first X factor audition, I really love his voice. But Craig's voice didn't do it for me. And I don't care much about look.

While I like Craig's singing voice, his facial expression made me change the channel a couple of times. He is also the first person I've heard to make a Gaga song sound dreadfully boring!!!

He was basically Joe McElderry.

1st half: Janet is guilty of that just as much...perhaps even worse.

2nd half: BINGO! We have a winner!

No charisma, no stage presence, no image and way too stars in their eyesy!!!!!!!!

As ellenpagerocks said on here,Craig never got back to the week one standard of performing and he did sound samey after awhile I think.
